Grill'd Melbourne Central — Restaurant in Melbourne

My friend Daniel and I are 100% happy with our burgers and 100% happy with the service at our first ever visit to Melbourne Central Grill'd earlier tonight on Sunday 28/04/2024...I have visited other Grill'd restaurant over the years whilst this was Daniel's first time having a Grill'd burger ever and he absolutely LOVED it like I did.

We placed our ordered at exactly at the counter, paying via bank card at exactly 6:37pm. We were given two bottle caps to place in the different jars voting for charities for Grill'd to donate a portion of their profits to, an extremely admirable thing for them to do.

The atmosphere and surroundings at Melbourne Central Grill'd were beautiful and stylish, and so comfortable too...we then realised our trains were coming very soon so I politely asked the crew members to turn our dine in order into a takeaway order, I apologised to them for the change of mind, and they were 100% nice, helpful and obliging like the guy who took our order.

We tremendously appreciate the crew members placing our two Wagyu Wonder burgers in separate takeaway bags, and we tremendously appreciate both their top notch service and their top notch speedy cooking and making of ourWagyu Wonder burgers, described as "Pasture-raised, premium Wagyu beef patty w/ aged cheddar, dill pickles, Spanish onion, Dijon mustard, tomato sauce & egg mayo" and they were PERFECT burgers indeed. Thank you so much to everyone from Melbourne Central Grill'd for that and the flawless service. They all deserve every reward and acknowledgement Grill'd can offer them. They and Melbourne Central Grill'd are the absolute BEST gourmet burger restaurant around and I very highly recommend them...

On the 14 of June 2023 me and my friends ordered at the store 20 mins before they shut, we spend 10 mins trying to order online but it didn’t work and when we where trying to pay it said it was shut and then an employee came up to us and said they where shutting and that we actually need to order in a sassy way so we said we will and while we where ordering she didn’t stop looking at us and made us really uncomfortable. When the food came out she didn’t even read our order correctly and dropped our food on the table harshly when we said what was ours and then proceeded to aggressively walk off. Thought out the whole time of us eating she wouldn’t stop looking at us with hatred and then when we where about to leave and I asked for a takeaway container from another employee, when I did she slammed what she was doing into the table and didn’t stop staring at us the whole time untill we left making us more and more uncomfortable to the point we thought she spat in our food. When we left we said thank you and goodnight and again she just stared at us aggressively. This was the cool to let you know. I went to Grill'd to try their new Healthy Double Crunch Chicken Tenders which are a lighter take on fried chicken.

Super seasoned, they have a nice flavour but are a touch dry solo. They definitely need a dipping sauce and I really liked the creamy cheese one.

Like the usual issue with Grill'd, they are on the pricier side but I was impressed that because ours were a little small, they added an extra couple of pieces making it feel like real value for money.

And it is a gamble whether the chips are gonna be great or not, unfortunately this time they were not.

In the burger department, the Zen Hen is my new obsession (sorry Simon Says) thanks to that satay zing that just hits right. I honestly can't believe I've never tried this burger before now?!

And I also love that even to today, they are still more than just burgers with their Local Matters token jars, every meal feels like community + flavour + doing good, all in one.
