I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CAFE! I walk 5 different cafes from my home just to get to this one. The coffee is amazing and their staff is always so kind. I bring my daughter and pram in and Kiara, Emerson and Grace always help get the door for me so I don’t have to struggle out. And the girls are always so silly and endearing with my little girl. It’s truly a joy to come in. The boys are incredible as well. Ian is so funny and I enjoy our chats him and Tiery (I hope I didn’t butcher his name lol soz). Went late on the weekend for a quick lunch as we were passing the area Ordered the rueben sandwich, chicken burger and some chips. The rueben was delicious and full of pastrami which was tasty and filling but unfortunately the chicken burger was not cooked through and pink/raw. We visited Jack the Lad on a sunny Sunday morning and really enjoyed our experience. The coffee was excellent and the chicken and waffles was incredible. The dish came with thick, smoky bacon stacked on top of crunchy, crumbed fried chicken and soft, spongy waffles. Although it seems weird, I highly recommend soaking the entire thing in the maple syrup that comes on the side.
