Waiting 53 mins for nothing, what a waste of time and money. Drove 1 hour just try our new spot we found came back out with disappointment. Thank you for ruined my Sunday.
I was so excited when I saw the poster of crispy pancake and decide order it to go. At the counter when I point to the poster on the wall ‘ do you still have this available?’ She said yes we have and say something else I don’t understand. 30 mins later dessert come out wrong, I told the another lady I order the crispy pancake and the fried banana. She told us she will change it but I need to add $3 which I happy to pay extra. 20 mins later, we still haven’t receive our crispy pancake and she keep give it to the people that are still eating at the table while we already finished our food and wait for one item to leave. I decide to ask the nice lady again if she can check if it’s coming soon. She went inside to reminding that lady to pack us the crispy pancake twice but she don’t even bother to do it and enjoy her food. It’s freaking 20 mins and I still didn’t not get my crispy pancakes. PS: We have a toddler that crying and want to leave.

This has to be one the top Thai restaurants in Melbourne. The food is just next level and the service is amazing.
The choice of dishes is beyond amazing and too many to choose from.
But I can say it all taste like your in Thailand. And that's coming from someone who lived there.
The workers are super friendly and kind. Welcoming you with smiles and very helpful.
The food service is also very fast and I love that you can either dine in or order to take away.
The Som Tom here is so authentic it reminds me of my Nanny one she would make. It also so fresh and spicy
The pork fried rice was so delicious you could just taste that it came straight out of the wok full of flavour.
The Chinese 5 spice pork stew (unsure of name) was one of my favourites in Thailand. And today it didn't disappoint it felt like it was the same one I had at the market.
The satay skewers were delicious I could eat so many of these it was so hard to stop eating them.
All and all I'm coming back to have more of the other dishes.
11/10 restaurant that...
Read moreThere's a little pocket of Thai restaurants and a large supermarket on this edge of Victoria Street. As someone who was used to bastardised Green Thai curry from a Bain Marie experiencing the variety from these restaurants had been a revelation. Thai Food Station has a large variety outside of the usual suspects, not least the North Eastern section of their menu. Pad Kra Pao is a classic and the version here with its lack of heat was due to my own miscommunication. It was sweet and luscious.
The beers on offer are the usual South East Asian fare, good for summer, typical rice adjunt background. The current inclusion of Carabao's dunkel and IPA offerings adds a bit more complexity to what is typically just lager.
The setting had a nice, authentic Thai clientele and authentic Thai creators. Music was on point, discovered some new Thai music via Shazam. Decent prices for authentic Thai. Large tables for larger groups as well. A decent...
