Food was perfectly fine but unfortunately had a terrible experience.

The food took around an hour, and was coming out all at random times, not just at our table but other tables who were still waiting for food and had ordered before we even sat down. Even the drinks came out about 20 minutes after we ordered. Typically I am pretty forgiving, could be understaffed etc so no complaints.

The rice paper rolls came with the wrong meat, different to what was ordered but at that point we were just happy for food.

Then the bao came out, which had an image on the online menu with two bao and was titled plural 'baos', but only one was on the plate. When questioned, the chef said the image was of two servings?? Not only is this false advertising but the title on the menu specifically said 'baoS'. This made it $12 for one single bao (including the EXTRA $2 for the chicken, not to mention that you had to order online which incurred a fee for everything you paid-the whole experience was terrible overpriced). Eventually my friends rice meal came, which was ordered first, and came after an hour.

Overall, shame the service was so terrible. The food had potential but the experience was terribly off putting and we weren't the only ones who experienced this. Would...

I thought this place was awful. I never bother with writing a negative review when I am not satisfied but this place totally deserves it. We sat down around 7:50, we got our first meal around 8:45, had to chase the waiter twice for the cutlery for 10 min after we got our first dish. The second one (which was a salad), we received 15 min after we finished eating our first meal. The size of meals and quality is not valued properly, even more with this terrible service. We asked for water 3 times until we actually got it. The tables around were left dirty like this for an hour and even when we left no one took care of them. The waiter literally looked at our table and ingored dirty dishes on it. We were ready to stand up and actually clean it up for them and leave ( I don't think would even notice if we left). I really don't mind waiting for my food, as long as the service is excellent and we are being taken care of, but no one came to us for 40min to even ask if we want a drink! We will never come back here that's for sure. Very...

It’s very cramped…loud when there are more than 9 people in there, the staff are lovely though which made the experience somewhat ok…. I took my daughter and we ordered chicken skewers, rice paper rolls, spring rolls, and the char grilled Chicken pho…I couldn’t eat the chicken because of the texture, it was like it was slimy and burnt at the same time, it tasted bland, you get 6 small spring rolls for $15.00 so by the time the bill came it cost me $98.00 I nearly fell over backwards….that amount for rabbit food?…I understand, yes it’s on trendy Chapel street, but really……sorry won’t be going back, this is the type of restaurant where you would attend for a special treat….not a regular event due to the cost and the size...

It is hard to find something nice about this place. But the one star rating 'hate it' is too harsh. I just wouldn't go back nor recommend it to anyone. It says Vietnamese restaurant and the menu has mostly Vietnamese dishes. But that's it. It was probably the most taste free pho I ever had. The decoration is probably left over from the last owners. The limit for eftpos is $20 (well, or ¢50, but I also had to pay ¢10 more because they didn't have change, and I wasn't even asked if that is okay...) So, please get organised, get labels on your sauces, and some taste in the food and freshly cut lemons wouldn't be too much to ask too I reckon

Probably the best beef salad i’ve ever had. I ordered the mix salad bowl with lemongrass beef and oh my, I wish I took a photo, presentation was so pretty and there was a generous amount of beef (value for money, big portion of salad with bean shoots, shredded carrot, cucumber. It came with a seperate little bowl of dressing so you can decide how moist you want your salad. The beef was tender, melted in the mouth like butter. Service was very prompt and they gave us chocolates at the end which was sweet! (no pun intended)

Absolutely amazing! First time I have come here for dinner with a few friends, and definitely we we’ll come back. The atmosphere is just great, with good music (to me) and perfect volume; together with the decoration, a brilliant cozy place. Staff is also very friendly. Then the menu, one of those that you have a good variety; not an endless list of options, but good. Dishes are well done, with nice presentation and good size. Nah,... I just want to come back already.
