Review Title: A Culinary Catastrophe

I recently had the most abysmal dining experience ever, and I feel compelled to share my utter disappointment. My excitement turned to disbelief and dismay when I was served an uncooked chicken curry accompanied by bread that was far from fresh.

First off, the chicken in the curry was alarmingly raw. One bite, and it became painfully clear that it was undercooked. Not only was it a serious health hazard, but the texture was completely unappetizing. I was mortified and immediately lost my appetite.

The bread, which was supposed to complement the curry, was a dry and stale excuse for an accompaniment. It crumbled to pieces at the slightest touch and tasted like it had been left out in the open air for days.

To top it all off, the service was lackluster, with inattentive staff who seemed indifferent to my plight. When I pointed out the uncooked chicken, there was no apology, no offer to rectify the situation—just a shrug and a casual, “Sorry about that.”

This experience was a far cry from the culinary delight I had anticipated. I left the restaurant feeling frustrated, unsatisfied, and quite frankly, worried about the potential health implications of consuming undercooked chicken.

In conclusion, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Save your time, money, and health by dining elsewhere.

Ordered for pickup, order was missing 5 naans as it was buy 1 get 1 free as stated on the promotion. Was also missing 1 butter chicken.

Went back to the store and the cashier kept arguing with me that there is no such promotion but it literally shows buy 1 get 1 free naan on my receipt and the uber app. Had to just walk out and forget about it as I was losing patience with the cashier giving her sarcastic and rude remarks about me trying to get free food from them. Such horrible customer service.

When I got back to try the food hoping that at least the food is good, unfortunately both curries were drowning in oil and I am not even exaggerating. I literally had to pour out the oil it was covering the entire surface it was crazy how much oil is in each container.. It was also absolutely tasteless. I did not know it was possible to make such a bad, super oily and tasteless butter chicken, and lamb korma. I can forgive the bad service but not if the food is this horrible as well. What a waste of hard earned money.

Overall definitely the worst indian food restaurant I've ever tried. Beware of visiting such a venue where they don't even respect their customers let alone the...

This was an amazing dining experience. The decor is definitely a class above what I expected.

The service was excellent, the kind lady made the experience almost personal which made the experience wonderful.

The food presentation was incredible, the dish felt well constructed. The presentation wasn't thrown together but rather delicately put together.

The plate could've had a better wiping to remove splatter and prints, especially when it is fairly quiet.

The lamb was amazing, I was slightly worried that a spoon won't cut a lamb shank but it absolutely fell off the bone. Unfortunately, my heat tolerance wasn't as good as I thought and I should have ordered mild, but that's my mistake. In expressing this, the kind lady in FoH suggested the mango lassi which absolutely cooled down the spice. Excellent service.

The seasoning on the curry was quite strong but not too strong.

The dessert was beautiful, and was an artistic masterpiece.

Next time I'm here I really hope I could have the opportunity to speak with the...

Terrible Experience at Namak - Never Going Back! If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at Namak on Chapel Street was absolutely dreadful. From the moment I walked in, I was ignored by the staff. After waiting for over 20 minutes without anyone coming to take my order, I had to *literally walk into the kitchen* to give it myself. I specifically asked for my food to be extra spicy, and what did I get? A bland, sweet gravy without even a hint of salt! How can a restaurant that names itself *Namak* (salt) forget the very thing they're named after? To make matters worse, the plates they served the food on had a *visible layer of dust* clogged on them. I honestly lost my appetite after seeing that. This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Save yourself the trouble, and dine somewhere else!

I ordered online chicken fried rice and chicken 65. And It was probably the worst decision I have in a while. The chicken fried rice felt like they they had mixed chicken Manchurian and rice and called it fried rice. Definitely not the type of fried rice I have had ever (and I have had it all over the world.) please take this dish off your menu. The chicken 65 was creamy with the masala completely uncooked and also tangy. Take a look at the picture and decide for yourself. I’m sure they have other food that might taste good. But these two dishes are definitely a no. I dint want their ratings to drop drastically because of the food. So I gave Service and Atmosphere-5 stars.
