So much potential wasted on lack of service. We were so excited to come here but left highly disappointed.

Arrived with a girlfriend for lunch and we purposefully came to try out the hot chocolate.

There were two other couples when we arrived so not busy at all, and when we walked in we weren't even acknowledged. We had to ask if it was ok for us to sit down of which we just got a nod and we're left to our own devices to figure out that it was qr code ordering. I'm fine with this concept but in a normal circumstance, staff would normally greet and explain the process.

There were plenty of staff, so being understaffed would not be a reason either. The food came out and was randomly placed on our table without any explanation, and to be frank, any tip given at the online ordering process was a complete waste.

We didn't feel welcome, the food was ok, and despite how sweet the hot chocolate was, we were left the venue with a sour taste.

When spending $100 at a Cafe, you would think basic service would...

Cozy Breakfast Haven: Le Petit Marché

Tucked away in the city, Le Petit Marché is a delightful spot for breakfast enthusiasts. From the warm welcome at the door to the last sip of coffee, every moment here is filled with charm.

The menu boasts a range of breakfast options, but the standout is the la Rubin sandwich—a symphony of flavors between slices of artisanal bread. Their coffee and hot chocolate are equally impressive, perfect companions to any morning meal.

On a gloomy wet and windy day in Melbourne, It was a welcome respite to step into this charming establishment.

What truly sets Le Petit Marché apart is its friendly staff, whose genuine hospitality adds an extra layer of warmth to the experience. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with a smile and expert service.

In summary, Le Petit Marché offers a memorable breakfast experience with delicious food, inviting ambiance, and exceptional service—a must-visit for locals and...

So disappointing. I ordered the steak baguette, I’m allergic to dairy so I asked kindly if they could please switch the sauce. They said they can’t make any changes to the menu, I asked if they could remove the sauce, they said yes, I asked if they could put some mustard on the bread instead of the sauce (mustard is on the menu) I even asked if mustard could be put on the side and I’ll pay extra for it- the unhelpful staff refused to help in any way and just laughed and me whilst repeating “we cannot make changes to the menu” even though the sandwich is made fresh and they were able to remove the sauce I was allergic to…..completely ridiculous for such a simple request on a $28 sandwich

If my two friends had not already ordered and paid before me I would...

I had high expectations for the steak sandwich, given the hype surrounding it, but unfortunately, it was a major letdown. The biggest issue was the steak itself—it was severely under-seasoned and so tough that it was nearly impossible to chew. I eventually had to remove the steak from the sandwich entirely and just eat the bread, which completely defeated the purpose of ordering a steak sandwich in the first place. I really don’t understand the praise this sandwich gets. If the meat isn’t properly seasoned or cooked to a tender consistency, it ruins the entire experience. They definitely need to improve on this because, as it stands, it’s not worth the price or the hype.
