Come with me to check out lovely cafe in Newport next to the park where it's having Midsumma X photo 2024 exhibition. It's a real hotspot for the locals! 🦆🫓Master Stock Duck Bro Buns shredded duck paired with a punch of chili, all balanced with the freshness of green mango and papaya slaw. I love those prawn crackers on the side, very crispy! 🍄🟫🍄🟫🍳Leroy's Signature Magic Mushrooms Not your average mushies, there are several types of mushrooms mixed into a tasty sauce with some sweet shallots cooked in red wine, paired with a crunchy potato pancake. Then, they add some creamy feta cheese for a bit of a tangy taste, and top it all off with a perfectly 60-degree cooked egg! This is really something different from other mushrooms' breakfasts that I had before, its magic!! 🎭 🥞🍓🫐OMG Pancakes These are not your everyday pancakes, they're a full-on feast with strawberries, fairy floss, and heaps of berries. The whipped choco cream takes it to a whole other level of yum ☕️Cappuccino Absolutely loving the rich, smooth flavor of theie cappuccino Miss Green Juice Apple, cucumber, celery, and lime are a fresh breeze, super refreshing! Worth the trek all the way across the other side of town. I really loved the set up. They have taken great care in all the little details and offer a space that is unlike any other. For a start they have an entire playground outside with tables surrounding it so families can come and parents can have their breakfast or coffee whilst the little people are kept well entertained. They also have another outside area on the other side of the cafe which is enclosed but can be opened up in the warmer weather that is pet friendly. Once again the little personal touches are evident here, there’s a heater installed but there are also blankets available and family friendly books to read and colouring in pencils for the kids. The inside is just as well thought out with an abundance of house made sweet treats. I kicked off with the cool running’s juice which was a yummy fruity concoction of watermelon, apple pineapple and orange. We then decided to share our meals and went for the smashing, açai bowl and chicken taco. I started with the smashing and while this is a pretty simple dish they really made it shine. Often this breakfast classic is served with a wedge of lime but this was so perfectly and deliciously seasoned it was one of the most enjoyable avo dishes I’ve had. The açai itself was quite sweet so well paired with the slight tartness of the strawberries and the acidity of the passionfruit. A very well balanced smoothie bowl. The taco was actually two tacos generously overflowing with yummy fresh ingredients. Genuinely friendly staff a great community atmosphere and fantastic food. What’s not to like?!

Three of us attended this cafe on Monday and after ordering our drinks and waiting for them and for our food order to be taken we were advised the kitchen has just closed. We decided to leave as it was lunch that we were mainly looking for not drinks. Today we decided we would still go here even though we had that experience the day before as we really did want to try the food. We ordered our drinks which were a chocolate milkshake with extra extra chocolate, a bannut smoothy and a cappuccino. We then after a short amount of time ordered our mains which were Southern fried waffle, UFC (ultimate fried chicken) Burger and Not just greens vegan option eggs exchanged for hash browns. Once our drinks arrived only two were ok. The chocolate milkshake did not have additional chocolate as requested (keep in mind I'm always willing to pay a little more to cover the cost. When our meals arrived it was a sad state of affairs indeed. Chilli loaded fries from the UFC Burger translated to skinny fries with 4 pieces of chopped cayenne chilli three of those being extremely small. Collard greens from the waffle dish were actually kale 🤔 The not just greens meal was no where near the value of the $19.50 charged. Apart from those items things did taste ok. If your looking for something different with flavour combinations then this place is good but not without their faults. The staff were friendly and courteous. But I cannot justify the $90 for our meal and just to add insult to injury they charge a credit card fee!

Brunch never looked this good only @leroyscafe in Newport is all about serving wholesome and delicious brunch and breakfast dishes over best quality coffee and juices. What we had: Master stock duck bao buns, this one was packed with so much of amazing flavours and was very loaded too. Definitely a must try. OMG pancakes, such a satisfying and tasty pancakes it was especially that sauce it was a game changer for this sweet brekkie delicacy. Highly recommended for all those with sweet tooth. Newport HollanDaze, very yummy, and fresh flavours, definitely a must try. Cool running juice was quite refreshing to drink and the iced coffee was very comforting and delish. Must try. The service is prompt and attentive even on a packed weekend morning and the staff here are all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The prices are super reasonable considering the good quality food and drinks they serve here. So definitely visit this week @leroyscafe for a tempting and great brunch/brekkie time with your friends/family/pet.

We came here on a Friday lunch time and we fell in love instantly. Dean the floor manager was delightful and very helpful, he let us pick our table and looked after us very well. The cafe was full of families and children, which it was a pleasure to watch as that was a sign that we were in one of the best cafes in the area a mammas know best. We ordered their Super Salad and the soup of the day. We didn't have time to post our first IG story that food was ready! We know that was just a salad and a soup order BUT still we were impressed how fast they were. My salad was super tasty, fresh, light and at the same time filling enough. The Soup? Oh that soup was one of the best we have ever had, truly a punch of flavour that will be always remembered.
