Routleys newport — Restaurant in Melbourne

Yesterday , my partner and I visited your café and ordered an iced latte and a ham and cheese croissant. While the coffee was satisfactory, we were concerned to find a piece of carrot inside the croissant, which we believe should not have been there.

Unfortunately, after consuming the croissant, my partner experienced an upset stomach and had diarrhea that lasted from the afternoon until the evening. We are quite disappointed by this experience, as we did not expect this from your establishment.

We hope you will look into this matter seriously to ensure better food safety and quality control...

Go for a pie and get pie on your face!!! Pie was soggy and way too hot. Ended up on my lap. Service was probably the worst i have experienced. A simple interaction on purchasing a pie you would think would be an easy one. Not here!!! Rude obnoxious. Owners should take note. There are plenty of other option in the strip of shop there. They seem to run out of hot pies and sausage rolls quite fast. Also have a small range of cakes to go with the below average tasteless coffee. You can also get sandwiches and rolls that are ready made or made as requested. I can recommend a toasted chicken schnitzel roll with cheese, lettuce and mayonnaise.
