Pizzas are ok, 7/10 but the owner and his son are quite cold and rude. I've tried to go there a few times and their attitude is always the same. I see a few other people in these reviews have had the same experience ( search the 1 star reviews )
I don't think they understand in hospitality you should be hospitable, being actually friendly and having a smile on your face goes a long way. I've got a few mates in the area and all our households get pizza once a week, these guys at Mamma Mia must be quite rich if they can afford to throw away customers who would have been loyal. I wonder how many other households feel the same way in the area and spend their money somewhere else.
Anyway we all go to Teos Pizza just down the road. Pizzas are 9.5/10 and staff are genuinely friendly lovely people. Makes sense now when I walk by Mamma Mia and they only have a few tables and Teos is absolutely full.
Don't even bother replying to this review in a rude sarcastic manner as you have others, I'm not going to waste my time reading your response because you simply just...

Have a chat with the old man owner running the shop and tell him to actually be hospitable rather than rude and interrupting. I think there is a reason your shop is empty on a Saturday night. I should also point out one section of the restaurant didn't even have lights on because there is no foot traffic.
I am shocked at how this place is still running. I have never had such a disappointing experience at an Italian restaurant. The owner kept staring at us while we ate our food and constantly disturbed our conversation telling us how he knows many other Indian people and about his past Indian staff.
We asked the waitress if she had any recommendations on what to get and she had no idea what was good at the restaurant and was a terrible communicator.
The food itself which is what we came for was subpar. The pizza was soggy and the pasta was bland.
Will not...
Read moreWorst Chicken Parma ever. Today (25-Feb-2014) I ordered a takeaway through their website. The parma didn't have a bacon or proper sauce. Sauce was just for namesake. That too a simple tomato sauce. The only thing in decent amount was the cheese. That's not all. They had put chips and salad in the same alfoil box. The chips were soggy like anything. The salads were all mushed up. Which in turn made the parma itself soggy. I had heard good review about and was even recommended by some of locals after I moved to this area. But in all honesty, I am more than disappointed. I am appalled. This didn't come cheap either. $20. There are far better places who sell parma for less than that and much better quality. I am not sure how the experience is when you dine-in (I'll write another review if I care to dine-in in future). But I would definitely not be ordering from this place again. Interestingly enough they have been in this business...
