I recently had the pleasure of discovering a hidden gem tucked away in the city—a cozy Japanese Ramen restaurant known as Mr. Ramen San. This small eatery may not boast grand dimensions, but its friendly staff and flavorful ramen creations make up for any spatial limitations.
From the moment I stepped through the doors, the welcoming atmosphere enveloped me, conveying a sense of warmth and comfort. The staff, with their sincere and friendly demeanor, instantly made me feel right at home.
The ramen at Mr. Ramen San was a delight for the taste buds. Each bowl presented a perfect blend of flavors, with the rich and savory broth perfectly complementing the noodles. Every bite carried the authentic essence of Japanese cuisine, leaving me thoroughly satisfied. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients showcased the culinary prowess of the chefs behind this establishment.
One aspect that caught my attention was the portion size—they could have been more generous. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Mr. Ramen San offers a rare and wonderful perk—a free noodle refill option. This made up for any desire for a larger portion, as I could happily indulge in unlimited noodles, a true rarity in today's dining landscape.
Overall, Mr. Ramen San is a standout among Japanese Ramen restaurants. The combination of friendly staff, mouthwatering ramen, and the option for free noodle refills makes it a memorable dining experience. The cozy ambiance further enhances the joy of savoring authentic flavors, creating a truly satisfying meal.
For all ramen enthusiasts seeking a tucked-away treasure, Mr. Ramen San is a must-visit. Immerse yourself in the delectable world of flavorful bowls, accompanied by the genuine smiles of the staff. Your journey into ramen bliss awaits at...
Read moreCame here today during busy hour for a two-person table, my friend was running late so it was just me queueing outside the restaurant. The waitress lady came up to me and ask me how many people were there, I said two, so she asked me to get a queue number from the iPad sitting outside, which made sense at the time.
Whilst I stood there in the cold wind, people lining after me were all invited inside the restaurant. Maybe they didn't have a table for two? I was confused.
Twenty minutes later, the lady finally saw that my friend arrived and was standing besides me, then proceed to tell me there will be a 5-10 minute, whilst I've been waiting for almost half an hour, and all of the others queueing after me had started to dine in.
I was frustrated and asked the lady why that was the case, then she proceeds to tell me that because my friend hasn't arrived at the time so she couldn't let me in.
I understand that dining spots are limited hence the place would like to kick the customer out as soon as possible so more revenue can be generated. However, maybe a more considerate act woud be to tell the customer that you are unable to put them in queue unless all members of the party arrives? Simply can't believe they made me wait for 30 minutes (if I waited for the next table as they suggested, probably 40) for nothing.
I guess it just demonstrates how little the business cares about customer experience and...
Read moreGod this was it. The answer to my prayers. You ever wake up hungover as hell and all that can solve your woes is a hot stunning bowl of soup? That’s how I found myself today. Me and my company had set out on our journey to another ramen shop and we were shocked to find that it no longer existed upon arrival. When one door closes another one opens, as they say.
We found ourselves traversing through the ground level of a mall, past many other wonderful smelling restaurants, and we came to mr. Ramen San, tucked away deep within the halls. We could tell already we had found a treasure when there was a small queue waiting to be seated already. It took us less than 10 minutes to be seated, and provided with deliciously chilled icy water. It was less than 5 minutes for our food to hit the table.
We were given the most beautiful bowls of ramen that have ever graced our presence. One sip of this ramen and we were almost crying. It was like slipping into pure ecstasy. It felt like a warm hug, Christmas morning, pay day all at once. The soup had incredible flavor and it cling to the thin noodles perfectly. It was a moment of pure bliss and torture as we got to the end of our bowls. I feel as though it could be the cure to all illness, war, and suffering. If you are anywhere in Melbourne and want to come as close as you can to meeting god, this is the place to go. I love you mr ramen San
