Adventure Rooms Melbourne (Bourke St) - Escape Rooms — Local services in Melbourne

Travelled from Perth, and this did not disappoint. Completed the Speakeasy room with 5mins to spare. And boy was it a journey. It got crazier with each clue, and so did I!

But in the vastness of time, space and matter, solving little puzzles with my few remaining brain cells brings me great joy.

I think it all started when I was told I was gifted as a child. The older I got, the more I realised that perhaps I wasn’t gifted, and I got weighed down with the pressure to achieve great things in life. All these expectations descended upon me like ravens of death. But as I’ve matured, I am beginning to realise that I’m not defined by the things I achieve. I don’t need to be the greatest to be worthy. I have friends and family who value me for exactly who I am. My achievements don’t matter to them, just being myself matters.

Except, I completed this room, and I am making it my entire personality for at least the next 2 weeks because achievements obviously still matter to me 😌

We came here for the first time as a family and absolutely loved the experience! It was our first ever escape room challenge, and we decided to go all in with the hardest one in Melbourne – The Mafia Room. It was thrilling, intense, and full of clever puzzles that kept us thinking and laughing the whole way through.

The venue itself was clean, well-organised, and had a great atmosphere that really set the tone for the adventure. But what made the experience even more special was the amazing staff. They were super friendly, welcoming, and patient – taking the time to explain everything clearly and making us feel comfortable and confident before we began.

You can tell they genuinely care about making sure everyone has a great time. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. A perfect family bonding activity – we’ll definitely be back to try the other rooms!

Have done 2 rooms here now (Abandoned Cabin and Mafia, which we found more challenging) and they were both amongst the best escape rooms I've done with friends!

The room setup and props are great and in keeping with their different themes. Time goes quickly as we moved through the different puzzles - there's a good number of puzzles to solve, and a variety of types of challenges, which makes use of different people's strengths. Really enjoyed a number of puzzles that are quite unique and I haven't seen in other escape rooms.

We did get stumped a couple of times, but the game masters were great at giving us enough time to try work it out ourselves, while helping us through so we had a chance of escaping on time.

Would highly recommend both rooms for a fun activity in the city with friends or family! Great location too, convenient to get to and heaps of places around to find...
