2 days ago, I decided to try this place for the same meal I get at different places for comparison.
I had the crispy pork and Chinese broccoli with steamed rice on the side - totalled to around $25 (most expensive one I’ve had yet) but it can be somewhat justified for a few reasons:
1: although the veggies are barely Chinese broccoli as labeled in the name, it definitely does have a variety of veggies involved i.e. capsicum, bok choy, carrots and of course the Chinese broccoli - I can confidently say that not many if, or at all, other restaurants offer the different variety of veggies in one meal
And 2: The quantity of the crispy pork in this meal is by far the most I’ve seen than in any other restaurant - they definitely don’t cheap out on the amount
Overall, I believe the portion is great, filling and tasty BUT in my opinion, I feel like this restaurant could use more oomph in their crispiness of the pork in order for it to really be “crispy pork” so that it has more of a crunch and flavour to add, though this doesn’t negate the fact it is quite delicious!

Their pork belly and stir-fried vegetables was crispy, sweet and paired perfectly with the coconut rice (my favourite! 🤤).
The Pad Med Mamuang, stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts, was flavourful and so good! With tender chicken, a sweet chilli sauce and crunchy cashews, it created perfect flavours, making it the highlight of the night for the kids. A must-try!
We also had the Red duck curry. Velvety smooth and rich. Plus it comes with a large leg fillet of duck. Premium quality.
Overall, it's a fantastic restaurant in our local community that I highly recommend we all support. 😁

Read moreWe tried this through Uber Eats. The food came hot, with very sizeable portions. We always eat the same dishes, so we always test Thai places on the same things - Tom Yum soup, sweet and sour stir fry and pad Krapow (basil stir fry). I ask for "spicy" as I don't want "Westernized" dishes. Everything was delicious - the only negative was perhaps that the coconut rice was not terribly flavourful. The Tom Yum was excellent - I asked for spicy, and it was, the regular medium was also great according to the missus. The chicken is sliced chicken breast and there's lots of variety in the soup. The pad krapow was also spicy and importantly, had lots of basil and variety. Overall, excellent, one of Melbourne's best (we'd rate it #2 after a tiny place...
