Krabi Thai — Restaurant in Melbourne

If I could give this a zero star, I would! Worst restaurant I've been to in a long time! I was excited to try this restaurant last week and ordered dinner at about 8pm, a veggie pad Thai. Was shocked when I got home to find old pieces of chicken in it. Even got my non vegetarian boyfriend to confirm it was chicken. Also broccoli that had been so badly microwaved, it had turned a radioactive yellow colour (see pics). Tried to call restaurant to get a refund, however, staff did not answer AT ALL... I tried 3 times and the next day. I'm still very angry and upset that this happened and I do not recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant given the shortcuts they are taking. Obviously, they gave me all the scraps leftover at the end of the night. I would never have written a review like this, but since there was no rectification for the horrible errors made, it seems only fitting. Disgusting, vile service and...

This must be the best Thai restaurant we have ever found in Melbourne. No doubt it has been our whole extended family's favourite Thai place where we catch up. It is cosy inside and the staff are very friendly. All the dishes we have ordered so far are delicious, and the cooking quality has been consistently high. The dishes have got the right degree of spiciness and I guess you can request for adjustment to your liking. The meat is always juicy, and the seafood generous. We have tried Tom yum, Satay sticks, and Glass noodle salad for entree, then Krabi seafood, fried rice, Chicken curry for main, and Fried banana with icecream for desrt (among others) and they are all fantastic! What a disappointment this meal was to my family. Tom yum soup, one dried out 31/40 prawn very poor flavour no coriander on top and looked like water from the Yarra. Now we go to the fried rice two pieces of carrot through the whole container asked for double chicken in it. I'd hate to see the chicken in it if you didn't order double, the Chicken was so overcooked and dried out we just put it in the bin. The spring rolls and vegetarian rolls where all pastry and no filling. The chicken skewers about an inch of chicken on 4 skewers so over cooked and dried out. They certainly won't be seeing my family and friends again. Very disappointing. $130.00...
