I went through the drive-thru around 10pm, craving their fried chicken. I simply asked the staff at the speaker how much a single piece costs, as I wanted to decide how many to get. Instead of answering, she launched into something about how the chicken is only available as an add-on to a meal, which wasn’t what I asked. To make things more difficult, her thick indian accent and fast speech made it hard to understand her, and after a few attempts to clarify, she just told me to drive to the window.
At the window, I asked again if meals only start at 6 pieces. She replied, in a condescending tone, “No, you can get 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…” – which led me to believe I could buy less than 6 as part of a meal. So I said I’d like 3 thighs and 1 breast. Then she suddenly said I couldn’t choose the parts – they just give whatever is available. I asked again if that applies even when buying pieces individually (not in a meal), and she still said no – that I couldn’t choose.
I found that baffling. At any proper chicken place, like KFC, I’ve always been able to choose what piece I want – especially if I’m paying per piece. I even asked if I could wait for specific parts, but she flatly said no, with a cold, unfriendly attitude.
At that point I gave up and just said, “Okay lah, give me 4 pieces.” She said it would be $17, and I was confused because earlier she said the 6-piece meal was $18. She replied with, “Of course meal is cheaper than pieces,” which confirmed she didn’t understand my original question at all.
In the end, I ordered the 6-piece meal to avoid more back-and-forth. When I got home, I found I had two tiny wings included – which barely count as full pieces compared to thighs or breasts. The box wasn’t even closed properly, so the chicken had gone cold during the short drive home.
To top it off, the buffalo sauce for the buffalo fried chicken barely covered anything. It was such a small amount that even the two measly wings and one thigh weren’t fully coated—let alone all six pieces. The portion of sauce was ridiculous for something that's meant to be...
Read moreI placed an order via Uber Eats, but when the driver came to my location, he dropped the order on the ground and the delivery bag ripped open.
I informed him that I was not accepting the order. I then contacted your store to address the issue, but unfortunately, I encountered a significant communication barrier.
Despite speaking clearly on numerous occasions, the female staff member claimed she could not hear me. This made it extremely difficult to express my concerns and resulted in a frustrating customer service experience. I found it particularly challenging as the female staff member appeared to be of Indian or Sri Lankan descent, which only added to the conversation difficulties.
I believe that clear communication is essential in any customer service interaction, and I was disappointed by the language hurdle I faced in trying to resolve this issue. I hope that a manager will address this immediately to ensure that all staff members are able to effectively communicate with customers...
Read moreTerrible experience here. Ordered a whole chicken and regular fries (drive through) for my family for dinner. Waited 10+ minutes at drive through, even though there were only 3 cars ahead of mine. Got home with chicken to find it had half the skin and meat missing, and no stuffing. Rang to complain and sent the supervisor photos as requested. Was advised the best she could do was offer me a 1/4 chicken and chips next time I went there!!! Customer service and quality of food was APPALLING. I will not go back again.
