Read moreI ordered and paid for two vegetarian burgers and a salad. U can check my card payment around 9.40 pm last night for 40.40 AUD. One burger was with avocado and other was with halloumi cheese but unfortunately both of the patties were grilled on the same grill where other meats are grilled and also same tong waa used so without arguing with the kitchen guys I just took it and threw it away in the wastebin outside as I couldnt find anyone to give it away. Its absolutely filthy and not acceptable to whom is following vegetarian standards unless you don't value your customer standards and feelings. Its not acceptable. I am not a person who makes employee at a workplace have a bad day but we vegetarians don't deserve this. I am sure you don't get this kind of comments frequently but you have to visit once to Nandos kitchen in any any part of India and you will see the food standards they follow in the kitchen. Its a humungous difference and also learning lesson for you. Hope you do take necessary actions and please don't need your apologies even if you think about it. Because if you meant it then I who comes from a hospitality background wouldn't be facing such things. FYI - just had salad and slept very hungry as this was the only meal I had for the entire day as I was travelling through...
Read moreLast week, my dining experience at Nando's Chevron left much to be desired. We chose the "Two's A Party" meal, accompanied by sweet potato chips and coleslaw. Unfortunately, the coleslaw disappointed, lacking the creamy, rich sauce that usually makes it a delight. This deviation from Nando's standard quality was surprising.
Equally underwhelming was the Paella Grande. A Nando's classic, it typically bursts with flavour and includes a generous helping of capsicum. This time, however, it was bland and conspicuously missing the signature capsicum. Having dined at other Nando's locations, I couldn't help but notice the stark contrast in flavour.
The ambiance did little to lift our spirits. Despite it being a quiet time, our table was not clean, reflecting a lack of attention to detail. Additionally, the staff's demeanour was not welcoming, missing the warmth and friendliness we've come to expect from Nando's.
Overall, the visit was a letdown, especially for someone who has consistently enjoyed meals at various Nando's locations. The lack of flavour in the food, coupled with subpar service, made for a disappointing outing. I hope this was just an off day for Nando's Chevron, and not a decline in their usually...
