Nando's Elsternwick — Restaurant in Melbourne

We have ordered from Nando’s Elsternwick many times and usually pick it up but twice now, and both times the delivery has been unacceptably slow, taking over 2 hours to arrive. The latest order was especially frustrating because despite the delay, the manager, Sonny, kept insisting it was Doordash’s problem rather than taking any responsibility.

If delivery is too difficult to manage, why offer it at all? Customers expect reliable service when they order, and pointing fingers doesn’t solve the issue. Disappointing experience for a brand we usually love.

Also to top it off , when finally delivered It was LEFT IN THE LETTERBOX. Have you ever heard of such a thing. It was too hard for doordash to ring the front doorbell

Placed an order via the website. Received an incomplete order, half of the items were missing. When we called the store they claimed not to be able to find our order.

They said they couldn't find our order via name or order number. But how was our order (half fulfilled) and my name written on the delivery bag?

They then said they could either give us store credit (but how when they can't find our order??) OR WE contact doordash ourselves to arrange for another delivery person to pick up the missing items. What?!? Shouldn't they contact their delivery partner to arrange this and not their customers??

The bag we received was also unsealed and no receipt attached. This is at least the 2nd time we've received an incomplete order from...

We are a regular customer for this restaurant for past few years, the time when shop was old set up to time the newly renovated. This restaurant is one of THE BEST Nando’s restaurants and the reason behind is Staff and definitely food. The owner of the Nando’s are really humble people, we have seen them working in the kitchen to deliver good food along with their hard working kitchen battalion. You will always going to feel absolutely welcome in the restaurant by their super friendly, happiest, smiley face of AMISHA, she always serves the customers with best of her ability.
