My initial order via Uber Eats was refused by me at the drop off because the delivery driver had stored my food in the boot of his car. I explained to the driver that this practice is against health regulations, as there is no way of knowing what else might be in the boot and whether it is sanitary. The order was subsequently cancelled and refunded, which was the only positive outcome.
I then placed another order, but the new driver assigned to my delivery was on a bicycle. I messaged him saying that I would not accept the order as I did not believe this was a suitable vehicle for a food delivery. When I called the restaurant to raise my concerns, the supervisor laughed at me and said he did not see a problem with a driver on a bicycle.
To make matters worse, the driver began sending me false accusations via the website, alleging I was attempting to scam Uber Eats for free food. This was completely false and quite disgusting behaviour from the driver. When I called the restaurant again, the supervisor claimed to be unaware of these allegations. Eventually, another driver picked up my order.
This entire incident reflects a worrying lack of care for customer safety and satisfaction, both from Uber Eats and Nando's (Niddrie). I will not be ordering from Nando's (Niddrie) again, as my concerns were not taken seriously and I no longer feel confident in your service and your restaurant staff.

Read moreNever have I dealt with such bad customer service as I have at Nandos Niddire. Every one of our four orders were in some way stuffed up. Upon ordering, one of the girls asked for no mayo in their wraps but it was smeared in it. My wrap was missing both the hot sauce and aioli that were meant to be included in it as stated in the menu. When I proceeded to tell two of the employees that they had done so, they became rude, abrasive and defensive with one of the employees even having the audacity to claim that I told her I wanted no aioli when she wasn’t even the girl who had taken my order in the first place??? Talk about getting on the defence. Further, as we were about to leave, two of the girls I was with realised they had never even received the drink that was paid for and meant to be included as apart of their meal. Of course I have to also mention that one of the plates had a black hair in it, same colour as one of the girls working the kitchen, coincidence? I think not. Read moreThis must be the worst Nando I have ever been. The young guy named Frank who received our orders couldn’t careless. We have been waiting for 30 mins with a young child and noticed the customers who came after us already got their food so I went and asked why and how far away of ours. That Frank raised his shoulders and said l don’t know. That was the best he could do - no apology, not even go and check for us.
We kept waiting for another 15 mins and found out that our orders for dine in was sitting in the takeaway table. That guy, Frank, came and walked around our table said nothing. He should see we have little kid sitting and waiting for food hungry and he couldn’t careless. Yeah, he should consider other jobs if he couldn’t care about service mind but this is beyond. I will never visit this shop ever again. I went there since we were late and want a quick bite and ended up taking longer time than the fine dining around there with appalling service. I never got so upset with service like this before. Unacceptable.
