Nuttea is usually my go-to place when I visit the city and I love the drinks there; however, I have decided not to continue supporting the shop due to its poor treatment for staff. I visited the shop on Saturday night (25/06/2022) for a drink. Despite the fact that it was a Saturday night, there was only one staff member working at the time and there were around 10 people waiting in line to order. The staff member (a girl I have seen working many times before) was working frantically to fulfill all the orders, and even though orders were taken over a terminal, half of the beverage options were not available. As a result, the staff member had to constantly stop making drinks to come out and politely explain to the customers what was available and what was not. I really admire this person's ability to multitask as well as her patience to answer all questions from customers. I even had an issue with my order where the terminal broke down and charged for my drink without putting an order through, so the staff member had to come out, reset the machine and checked my bank account to ensure the transaction went through and wrote my order down to a piece of paper, before rushing back to complete the other 10 orders before mine.

I do feel bad for the staff working at nuttea who have to deal with all this stress. I do not see the reason for stressing staff out and putting their health at risk by not hiring more people on such a...

Read the reviews of staff being super helpful and explaining how to drink the drink. My experience was completely opposite sadly. I got the matcha peanut cream. Peanut flavour comes through strong enough but too sweet for my personal liking (some people may find it okay or not sweet enough). My experience at the store was severely worsened due to very inconsiderate customers in the store at the time. There isn’t a lot of seating, probably 3 cushioned seats that could fit 2 people each. There were 3 friends sprawled across all the seating with their bags taking up an entire seat and they were just chatting to each other and did not even attempt to make space for a new person. And the staff didn’t even attempt to ask if I wanted a seat and to ask these 3 women occupying space for SIX people to make some space for just 1 person. overall very unpleasant experience, just the memory of it would prevent me from returning. subtracting one star for the awful vibe. If you see my photo this is me having to sit outside the store to enjoy the drink.

Update- the drink is difficult to finish, the matcha they use is very poor quality. Most likely never...

I get the green tea with nut cream at least once a week at the Melbourne central store. When made right it's a 10/10 but when it's not it 2/10. I realised why sometimes it taste very bad. When ever I get served by an Asian girl and nut cream, tea and pearls are perfect. But when ever the Asian boy (worked on 2/6/22) is there the nut cream is so thick to the point of not being able to mix it in with the tea and it taste a bit more salted. The pearls are not cooked enough and are a bit hard and doesn't have the same sweetness.

I wish there is more consistency with your drinks because when ever the cream it too thick and the pearls are hard in the centre the whole drink is wasted.

In the photo the cream is so thick that after I tiring to mix it in the tea, the cream floats back up making the tea clear again.

I now know to not get a drink if the male staff is working which was Thursday this week, I rather save my money then get disappointed. No hate to the staff, I just want consistency because there is a huge different in taste and experience...

So happy it is in Melbourne! Love it so much and always get it in Taiwan! This shop makes vegan bubble tea and they taste so good!!! Plenty of options and variety, I always add the extra nut cream on top just like the cheese foam! Can’t wait to go and try the new items!
