Park Pantry — Restaurant in Melbourne

This is my favourite local cafe. When I took time off work earlier in the year I was coming here nearly everyday, over cafes closer to me. I've noticed in the last 6-12 months, loads of cafes/restaurants have decreased the quality of their food/drink by switching to cheaper suppliers due to inflation (like the cafes/restaurants on Domain and Toorak Rd...if you're local you know) but Park Pantry has continued to serve the same high quality food and coffee they always have since I've been going. The barista/manager is lovely and remembers customer's names - that level of service is rare in cafes these days. After a walk in the Botanical gardens we discovered this little gem of wholesome meals. Food is delicious and full of flavour! I had Egg benedict - served on the home-made hash brown with shredded beef. The hash brown on its own was perfection - stacked slices of potatoes - baked with yummy crust. I was in Melbourne for a week and stopped by this place most mornings. After 3 or 4 visits, they knew my name already when I ordered, which was nice.
