Avoid this place! I went here 14/02/2014 The guy is a creep/sleaze/sexist to girls and the food gave my girlfriend and I food poisoning. We ordered a take away vegetarian pizza (you would think was safe), the guy who runs the place seemed nice enough and offered us a piece of garlic bread each. He then asked if he could have a coke from the fridge. As I went to grab it for him he said 'oh no I want you to get it for me my dear' pointing to my girlfriend who looked at him in disgust. The pizza tasted pretty good. But that night I spent hours vomiting it up. Worst food poisoning I have had. My girlfriend got it to. It was the only thing we both ate that was the same for a few days. We both took a couple days to recover including intense vomiting; night sweats; shivering in the heat; weak; continuously tired; headaches; etc.. Not a fun experience. The most disappointing part is I just moved in around the corner and I was hoping this would be my new local pizza place!! I have to walk pass it every day. There are many other food places around...
Read moreWhat a find!!! We’re so so happy. We were greeted by name and with smiles when we came in.It was a warm, cozy atmosphere! The wallpaper and lights feel like Italy. The food was brilliant. We started with a Garlic Cheese pizza that was scrumptious! The Greek Salad was fresh and oh so tasty!! Then our mains came. WOW! I got the cannelloni and it was absolutely perfect. It also came with a salad, which made me extra happy! We will definitely be back! This is the sweetest family restaurant and we love supporting local Hampton.
Thanks to everyone who created such a wonderful experience. May this place prosper and the owners and family be...
Read moreI admire Picasso's for their longevity and the friendly (free delivery) prompt service but the pizza is very very average. They have some of the best competition in Melbourne in the same street (Fazio's, Il Forno, La Svolta etc, etc) producing great wood fired pizza. I got lazy and ordered a delivered pizza which was tasteless. Prawns that should be called shrimps because they are so small; that under cooked processed ham as the base layer of ingredients. I could go on. On the odd occasion I have visited this restaurant over the years you can never fault the friendliness or the price but......the quality is...
