I am an avid pizza lover, and nothing beats the joy of indulging in a delicious pizza at Pizza Hut. However, my recent experience at Pizza Hut Docklands was an absolute nightmare that left me thoroughly disappointed. As someone who loves their pizzas, I expected better service and quality, but unfortunately, that was far from the case.
Upon visiting Pizza Hut Docklands this week, I was shocked by the excessive wait time to receive my order. It was an unreasonably long wait, which is simply unacceptable. The fact that this extensive wait time applies not only to dining orders but also to online orders via Uber Eats, Doordash, and Menulog is beyond comprehension. It seems that regardless of the order type, customers are subjected to this exasperating delay.
To make matters worse, I happened to be doing Uber Eats deliveries in my free time during the same week. To my dismay, I received an order from Pizza Hut Docklands, which should have been a simple task. However, I ended up waiting for an agonizing hour and a half, only to have the order cancelled by the customer. This resulted in not only a waste of my valuable time but also a loss of $150. I cannot emphasize enough how frustrating and absurd this situation was.
What truly disappointed me was the apparent lack of care exhibited by the staff members towards both customers and delivery drivers. It seemed as though they prioritized their own convenience over providing prompt service. Each order was handled with an alarming disregard for efficiency, making the wait time unnecessarily long and irritating.
It is disheartening to witness a renowned international brand like Pizza Hut tarnish its reputation through such subpar service. It is high time that management takes action to rectify this situation. Whether it be replacing the current staff with more competent individuals or considering a relocation, changes need to be made to ensure a better experience for customers.
In conclusion, my recent experience at Pizza Hut Docklands was nothing short of a disappointment. The excessive wait times for all types of orders, the cancellation of my own order, and the apathetic attitude of the staff members were all glaring issues. I sincerely hope that Pizza Hut takes these criticisms seriously and works towards improving their service, as it is the loyal customers who ultimately suffer from...
Read moreIf I could put a 0 star review I definitively would. That level of disrespect and incompetence is getting me to question on how they can stay open. Especially after reading now the many complaints for this specific restaurant. I ordered some pizzas last night (21/06/23) at my work as we were having a very busy night and we were stuck at work. I ordered the pizzas at 6.43pm for an estimate delivery arrival at 7.22pm. We then decided to call them at 7.23pm because we noticed something was off, the order tracker was not working. It seems to us that they had never accepted the order, the money was taken though. After struggling to speak to any staff on the phone, we managed to speak to a staff member who blatantly lied to us by telling us the delivery will be ready in 5min. Our pizzas never came. And we were at work until 10.30pm.... After an hour of wait and being so hungry and stuck at our work, we decided to try to call them again and impossible to get through anyone. I guess they blocked all the phone calls. After 2 hours of wait, we decided to file for a complain to get a refund and ordered from the competition. Do not order from Pizza Hut. Because you never know what venue you'll be assigned to and if you're unlucky to get the Docklands shop, well don't be hungry and expect a good customer service. If only they would have called us to let us know our order was delayed or cancelled, it would have been different. But they lied and made sure we couldn't speak to them. Very frustrating and so unprofessional. And it's coming from someone who works customer service so we could be understanding on a lot of things but honestly that was something else. Please do not comment this review once more with 'We're sorry to hear that and share the feedback to our head quarter', you apparently do not do it after seeing many complaints are still coming through for...
Read moreMy partner ordered our food (2x pizza, a drink and garlic bread) 6:35pm, the order arrival time said 7:25pm. Now this isn’t a problem, but why does it take over an hour for the pizzas to get delivered when we’re only 15 minutes away (by bike— maybe even less). The delivery driver come until 7:35pm with only 2x pizza and the drink. No garlic bread. Also the pizza were cold. He told my partner that he’d go back to the shop to get it and call us in 5 minutes or so upon returning with the garlic bread. Whilst my partner waited in the lobby of our hotel for 15 minutes, I was on the phone for the same period of time. Not once in that 15 minutes was the phone picked up. My partner received no call back from the delivery driver either. So we jumped on a tram with our cold pizzas to the Pizza Hut on docklands. Which was 15 minutes trip for us.
When we arrived, there was about seven other people waiting for their food. When we told them about what happened, the lady said she’d remake it for us. However, at this point why would we wait? When there was people waiting for 30 plus minutes already. She had to call the manager to confirm our refund; which said would be back in 24 hours. (If in 24 hours we don’t have our money back. I will be calling and making more of a fuss). Then the lady had the nerve to say that our delivery driver was standing in the rain, when my partner was waiting in the lobby and clearly wrote out for him to come inside.
I understand that hospitality is busy, I personally have worked in the industry for many years. I could clearly see that it was. But it shouldn’t be on the customer to come into the shop; after a lack of communication and efforts of those employed. I don’t know if the manager needs to hire more people to work but something has to change because, tonight...
