Sweet Nata is an absolute gem in the world of Portuguese custard tarts, and I cannot express my delight enough with this charming cafe! As a devoted regular, I've had the pleasure of savoring every delectable creation that Sweet Nata has to offer. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite, making it clear that Sweet Nata takes great pride in delivering the best to the customers. The variety of sweet and savoury Pastéis de Nata is a testament to the creativity and skill of the culinary team. The coffee at Sweet Nata deserves its own praise. It is expertly prepared and serves as the ideal companion to the pastries.
What truly sets Sweet Nata apart, though, is the warm and welcoming atmosphere cultivated by Scott, the owner, and the entire team (Stephanie and Olivia). The genuine friendliness and passion for their craft are evident in every interaction. Scott, Stephanie, and Olivia take the time to engage with customers and sharing insights into the pastry-making process.
The combination of fresh, mouthwatering Pastéis de Nata, exceptional coffee, and a friendly, passionate team make this cafe a standout...
Read moreWe were lucky enough to walk past this place as it was (literally) closing its doors on Saturday afternoon. we were welcomed inside and show the selection of tarts left. The lady was very nice to us and took her time explaining the different varieties of tarts that they still had available. We were stoked they had any left at closing time, but a choice of flavor? Jackpot! We bought a mixture and wow! Soooo good. All of them! Nice surprise that they were warm, and then packed with care. ;) The pastry was light and flakey with the perfect custard filling. I really liked the traditional with its lovely sweet glaze and my friend thought the apple crumble variety was the winner. Definitely made with love! I live on Sydney road and it’s going to be hard to walk past this place now without stopping in. Thankyou for being so nice to customers that walked in as you were trying to close the door. Great service and the best Portuguese tarts I’ve had. Sorry no pics, we gobbled them...
