Sushi is incredible. It opened a door within my taste buds in which I've never experienced and expanded my outlook on how elite Japanese food is and how much it should be congratulated throughout society. It brought a tear to my eye knowing how wonderful food could be. I have tasted top tier chefs food which are known globally and has topped their quality billions of light years further. I would do anything and I mean ANYTHING to taste Kokoro Shushi Brighton again for the first time (seriously anything). My life has changed forever and I feel way too blessed to have experienced the true magnificence of this restaurant. From Bugs

Thrilled to have a yummy sushi train so close to home in Kokoro. It’s one hour seatings but with the food zipping about its adequate time to demolish an impressive number of yummy plates. Order dishes you don’t see at the touch of a button and they will arrived via the top of the train with a ding directly in front of you. Efficient and delicious, what a killer combination. Not the cheapest sushi train and not the most generous slivers of salmon but certainly super fresh. I was enjoying myself so thoroughly I forgot to take photos till it was almost time to leave!

Regularly get takeaway from here but yesterday my salmon sashimi carpaccio was not fresh. I first ate cherry tomato which tasted bad then looked at lettuce mix and it had furry mould growing on it. I returned to store straight away to show them and to obtain a refund. Their response was the mould was because of the weather (It’s winter in Melbourne) and the girls didn’t check. They offered me a fresh salmon sashimi and a drink and said thank you. As it was about 3.30 no customers were in the queue.

We have been coming here for years They have recently renovated and added " an extra" to all off their sushi plates at the train .. take a look .. oh all so delicious ADDICTIVE and DELICIOUSLY HEALTHY. A frequent flyer - lunch and dinner - sometimes twice in a day ! I love this place. The waiting line and crowds tell the story !! I love the bar sitting around the sushi train and also more intimate tables for 4. You can dine in , take out and order huge hot meals or platters for your party

Food was delicious and fresh; lots of variety to choose from as well. Only downside is the serving sizes are unexpectedly small! Had the chirashi don and it was $19 and it was such a small serving! My closest comparison is with Suzuran in Camberwell where the food is equally as delicious and fresh, price is the same but serving size is a whole bowl and much more generous.

Amazing sushi 🍣 train place for solo dining or with the family. Everything is freshly made and in the unlikely event you won’t see something that you like on the rails, another train will bring your custom order to you. It’s an amazing experience all together with staff being polite, premises super clean and sushi train with an actual train that will blow your mind!
