Selene's Chocolate Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

I had a very bad experience this morning with the service of one of the girls who was wearing glasses and a mask. I was about to buy some Easter bunny chocolate at the other side of the counter. The big size of the bunny chocolate was not labeled so I waited next to it and waited for her to come as she noticed me at the very beginning. However, she ignored me and continued to work. I waited a bit longer and called her by saying excuse me. She did not listen to my request, instead she said give me a second. I waited again and she asked me to come to the counter. I waited for the first customer finish the order and was about to explain what I need. She stared at me and said in a very rude tone that I need to go back to the line regardless how long she had kept me waiting.

Her attitude was very awful and this is my second time feeling in this way at this store with the service from her. I understand it can be busy in the morning and people may feel tired, but at least I deserve some respect.

I don’t want to be rude but its been almost 3 years we are regular customer at this place as we love to have coffee here. Today when i ordered a coffee for me and my friend, there was a girl named skylla ( not sure about the spellings, a girl with short hair, front fringes) was very irritated and rude and I wasn’t sure why this kind of behaviour came to me. To be honest its just ruined my day. Moreover, i take on board that we were wrong when we were having a burger with coffee which might be against their of having outside food in their cafe. Since we didn’t know their policies, but the staff made us feel uncomfortable by starting as us rather than just coming up and informing us regarding the same at that very time which they did after a while

We are not putting this review to offend or criticise any staff members. Its just for the experience so that they don’t make customers feel unwanted in their cafe.

Not to forget there is a girl( long hair with glasses ) who makes wonderful coffee and is never in rush or irritated, always have smiling face and always welcoming which makes us having coffee...
