đŁ Sushi Jiro: A Disappointing Encounter đŁ
Nestled in the heart of Box Hill Central, Sushi Jiro beckons with promises of delightful sushi creations. However, my recent experience left much to be desired.
đ Taste & Quality: The sushi platter, while acceptable in taste, did not compensate for the lack of attention to detail in other areas.
âł Speed of Service: Unfortunately, the speed of service was appalling. Despite placing my order well in advance, the sushi platter was not prepared upon my arrival, resulting in an unanticipated and inconvenient delay.
đŒ Customer Service: The most disappointing aspect of my visit was the lack of professionalism and empathy displayed by the staff. When inquiring about my order, I was met with a dismissive attitude and a lack of explanation for the oversight. A simple courtesy call would have been appreciated, preventing the inconvenience of waiting unnecessarily.
đ° Price & Value: While the price was reasonable, the overall value of the experience was diminished by the poor service.
đ Conclusion: Regrettably, I will not be returning to Sushi Jiro for future orders. The lack of communication and professionalism exhibited by the staff left a lasting negative impression.
đą Final Thoughts: Sushi Jiro serves as a reminder of the importance of effective communication and customer service in the food industry. Businesses must prioritize customer satisfaction to maintain loyalty and positive reviews.
đ Recommendation: Approach Sushi Jiro with caution and consider alternatives to avoid potential disappointment. It's essential for businesses to uphold high standards of service to ensure a positive customer experience.
In conclusion, while Sushi Jiro offers promising sushi options, the overall experience fell short of expectations due to poor communication...
Read moreTreated ourselves to this delicious platter from sushi jiro! Sushi jiro is one of my fav sushi train go to spots in Melbourne so thought we would try one of their assorted platters for our movie night!
We ordered the Jiro Favourite Platter ($69) which comes with a selection of different nigiris and sushi rolls- The nigiris included their salmon, apple onion scallop, tuna, apple onion prawn and their rolls consisted of California, veggie catepillar, salmon lover, salmon hokke.
The whole platter can probably feed around 3-4 people depending on how hungry you are. However we did feel a bit misled as underneath the two salmon rolls (the one with and also without the scallop) was just vegetables, whereas the description and also the photo on their website states that salmon was on the inside too. This was quite a let down as salmon lover is my favourite roll (with salmon inside and on top) and we get it every time we go sushi train đ„ș Despite the unpleasant and disappointing surprise, everything else was still incredibly delicious, and tasted really fresh! The scallops were amazing as usual, the avo and tuna was so creamy and itâs a controversial opinion but I really love California rolls đ

Read moreOverpriced sushi train thatâs not great in quality. Went on a Sunday lunchtime and it wasnât packed- thatâs saying something!
The plates starts at $4.20 (or was it $4.80?!) but a lot of it has just one nigiri in it, meaning that if you wanted two pieces you have to pay $8.40!!!! A lot of plates are the more exxy ones and they are not all that great either. Kiddo loved tamago sushi but absolutely dislike the one he got here. He stopped after eating another plate. Also found a fish scale with my sashimi đ€Ź
Service wasnât great as well. The wasabi was only situated in one section of the very long âtrainâ, so when I got my food, I had to wait a long time to actually get the wasabi. When I asked the waitress she is very reluctant to go get us some, and also failed to even provide basic service like tap water.
Overall not...
