My husband and I have eaten here twice. The first time we had pho and we thought it was good with a very satisfying stock and we liked the ambience of the place. On the second visit I ordered a Vietnamese salad that was very disappointing, mainly because it was tasteless, no hint of chilli, fish sauce or lime and a very mean serving of herbs. In my opinion the herbs and dressing make this dish and without them it's very bland. Also the chicken in the dish was very tuff. My husband's meal was similar, too few herbs! It's great that they are able to cater for vegetarian and gluten-free options, as they make most things fresh (though it would be great if they added and/or labelled more vegetarian options, which would make me East there far more often because current options are limited). They make nice fresh food. Some things are delicious, like the spring rolls, but other things like the noodle salad and rice paper rolls are a bit bland (though they have plenty of sauces to flavour them as you wish, which makes them quite tasty). Read moreGREAT VIETNAMESE FOOD ON BUSY STATION STREET Streat Pho is a cheery Vietnamese restaurant in the Station St Fairfield shopping strip. Indoor and al fresco seating. A good range of Vietnamese and SE Asian dishes. Cheery prompt service. The food is very fresh and serving size is quite generous. Small step up into the restaurant for those with molibility issues. Cash and cards. We had a small vegetarian pho (broth was very tasty but the vegetables could have been a bit more imaginative), char kway teow - delicious! and a vietnamese chicken salad .. again delicious!
Outdoor has seating for 4 so is a good option for a small group wanting to eat but also watch the world go by on Station St.
One of your best choices...
