I was at the market and the store really caught my eye, the packaging is so cute (haven’t tried the tea yet) but… the guy who served me was soooo rude. The market is obviously loud and when I asked how many tea bags each box, couldn’t hear it the first time but when I politely asked to repeat it, he shouted 3 in a very unfriendly way. Nevertheless, when I asked for an assorted pack or which one was the best he just pointed at two assorted packs without any greater knowledge or will to engage a customer. Lastly, when I was about to pay - I know silly me I shouldn’t have bought anything and walk away- the way he handed the eftpos machine was so inpatient and cos I was holding my puppy and changing hands to pay he just chucked it on the table and WALKED AWAY!!! honestly, I made the purchase but with no desire to come...

She had no problem serving a white lady who came after me.
There was a sign showing "free samples" and an open tin next to it. As soon as I asked, may I please have one free sample, she took the tin and sign away and said no more. Wow.
I end up purchasing $80 worth of the tea online from their website which is substantially cheaper than the shop and no racial...
