I was at the market and the store really caught my eye, the packaging is so cute (haven’t tried the tea yet) but… the guy who served me was soooo rude. The market is obviously loud and when I asked how many tea bags each box, couldn’t hear it the first time but when I politely asked to repeat it, he shouted 3 in a very unfriendly way. Nevertheless, when I asked for an assorted pack or which one was the best he just pointed at two assorted packs without any greater knowledge or will to engage a customer. Lastly, when I was about to pay - I know silly me I shouldn’t have bought anything and walk away- the way he handed the eftpos machine was so inpatient and cos I was holding my puppy and changing hands to pay he just chucked it on the table and WALKED AWAY!!! honestly, I made the purchase but with no desire to come...

I have been a loyal Tea Drop customer for a long time and cannot fault the quality of their teas. However, I am extremely disappointed with their loyalty program, which lacks transparency and feels outright sneaky. Tea Drop’s teas are quite expensive, and they occasionally offer free shipping for orders above a certain amount—let’s say $60. However, if your order qualifies for free shipping and you decide to redeem even a small discount, such as $1 off, they remove the free shipping, even if the total still exceeds $60! This is outrageous and feels like a deliberate way to discourage customers from using their rewards. I’m honestly fed up with these tactics and will be taking my business elsewhere. A loyalty program should reward customers, not...

For the first time in Australia I've experienced racial discrimination. The customer service was shocking.

I stood at the cashier counter for a while until the girls stopped chit chatting and came to greet me. The Caucasian female staff was condescending (as if I can't afford to pay because I'm Asian??) for the entire time when I asked to purchase a set of Lemongrass Ginger tea. She had no problem serving a white lady who came after me.

There was a sign showing "free samples" and an open tin next to it. As soon as I asked, may I please have one free sample, she took the tin and sign away and said no more. Wow.

I end up purchasing $80 worth of the tea online from their website which is substantially cheaper than the shop and no racial...

it was slightly jarring to not have a menu available but the staff were very patient and helpful. there was a wide selection of teas available - green, white, and black; all of which could be “sampled” in the form of its smell. unfortunately not many special teas were sold in tea bags but sold in loose tea leaves. the taiwan milk oolong was exactly like what its name sounds like and i highly recommend it for people who enjoy a light tea with the milky taste.

they had problems with rude staff previously, but to my knowledge, they have already let the problematic staff go. my experience with both staff today was amazing, and the hot matcha with honey was really good. recommended!

Fresh matcha made with care, added lychee flavour which I was worried would be overpowering but ended up being very subtle. Reasonable pricing, 7$ base, 1$ for flavouring, 50¢ for almond milk.
