My daughter ordered late night takeaway...she had been wanting good Thai (she is half Thai and we have both previously lived there). To be fair...it was after midnight...so perhaps mistakes were made by the restaurant. She ordered two main doshes- pad sii ew and pad Thai. They came looking almost identical... But neither looked correct. the pad Thai had no bean shoots, the wrong noodles, no peanuts, no tofu... Incredibly disappointing. The chicken used in one dish tasted like Woollies/Coles rotisserie chicken. Pad see ew was 'ok' but not great. essentially the dishes tasted very similar with one marginally sweeter than the other. They could have been the same dish and as we went back and forth tasting them... We kept shaking our heads. The serve of spring rolls was the best thing about this order, and they were probably a 6/10 so not amazing! Other reviews of dining in show pad Thai looking like it normally does in Thailand...yet some takeaway reviews seem to have had issues like ours. Very confusing. Not sure I would go in store to see if things are better...there are a heap of other places nearby I can guarantee have authentic dishes and taste ... But after midnight options were...

We had: 🍞 Roti Satay $8.90 🐷 Pork Hock $22.90 🍜 Pad Thai Noodle $19.90 🦐 Clay Pot King Prawns $22.90 🥗 Calamari Green Apple Salad $22.90 🍲 Tom Yum Seafood $24.90

We opted for a “mild” Tom Yum, but to our surprise, it turned out to be intensely sour and spicy for our taste buds! 🤣 The Calamari salad matched this spiciness, featuring crunchy apple and bouncy calamari fried with a thin crispy outer.
In addition to the well-prepared Pad Thai and Roti, the standout dish was the Pork Hock, which was cooked twice for a crispy skin and tender meat. Despite the mild natural meat flavour , the dish was enhanced by its...
Read moreHad the opportunity to try this place thanks to a food tour organised by the Melbourne City Council! We were fortunate enough to get to try their Thai Hot pot! It was my first time getting to try and I loved the fragrance and aromas from the soup 💕. They have a different range of drinks including Thai milk tea, coconut juice, and soft drinks from Thailand!
Unfortunately our gas can ran out midway through dinner 😂. We also got to try their delicious fried chicken, chilli mussels, and fried fish. Sadly, the fish did come out a bit cold 😰, perhaps because they had pre-cooked everything before we came.
Desserts however, were definitely freshly made snd tasted delicious! We ordered the fried banana and the coconut sticky rice, both came with icecream 💕.
Service was super friendly and they explained how to do the hotpot and each dish that came out.
Thank you for...
