Visited Mt Eliza Famished Wolf last night for a Wedding Celebration Dinner. Poor guy was on his own to serve, cook and wait on diners + menulog.
Was overcharged as he was in a rush to get back to the grill, luckily I got a receipt and noticed the overcharge so it could be refunded.
Food was great but considering the price of the burgers you would expect a side of small chips to go with it. Large side of chips I ordered did not seem large at all considering the price I paid for it.
I was so upset when I purchased a Jack Daniels and it was served neat with no mixer or ice, I spoke to the guy working and he said I would have to pay extra for mixer and they didn't serve with ice even though it clearly states on the menu that it is served with ice and a mixer, he told me that's how the owners have told him to serve it. Menu falsely advertising how it is served.
Couple seated next to us arrived within 5 minutes of us arriving but had to wait almost an hour for their food as Menulog/Uber orders were prioritized.
Spent a fortune and was left so disappointed, this store could be so much better if a few things were adjusted and made more appealing for customers, especially the false advertising...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy daughter and I were unwell a couple of days ago and decided to order from The Famished Wolf in Mount Eliza via the DoorDash app. We were quite excited about doing this for the first time, however our order was completed but no food was delivered. After countless emails, messages and a phone call, we still have no food and no understanding of what went wrong? We drove to The Famished Wolf because we were hungry, but also because I was curious to find out what happened on their end. There were we met a lovely guy, his name I think was Luke? He had made the order. It was sitting there. The driver had never turned up! Luke then insisted on remaking us our food. He would not let us pay either, even though he was not at fault in any way. The food was delicious! The Cheesy Burger especially. I highly recommend The Famished Wolf in Mount Eliza, for great customer service and awesome food!...

Look I love me a burger, Being Gluten Free and unable to eat red meat I only had one choice on the menu and it was an average burger. Most places always reheat you a frozen Bun, which I get, but It frustrates me when they come out still cold to touch, which this was. Couldn't eat the chips, not Gluten Free. Husband loves there loaded chips BTW. I just feel if it was a choice between here and Grilld(this is where my measuring comes from) Grilld would win, even with Grilld high prices.
Oh prices here are standard for a burger shop.
Over all, it's good but average. Worth giving it a go and seeing...
