Wild Timor Coffee is a charming little spot tucked just beside Melbourne University and right next to the dental hospital. My girlfriend has popped in regularly over the past few weeks while I’ve been heading into the hospital, usually grabbing a latte and a ham, cheese and tomato croissant.
She reckons both the coffee and croissant are solid, but it’s really the vibe that keeps her coming back. It’s got a warm, cosy feel that’s worlds away from the clinical atmosphere of the dental hospital next door. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the music is always on point, and there’s plenty of seating both inside and out. The cute veranda is the perfect place to catch the morning sun!
While the food and coffee are definitely worth a visit, it’s the atmosphere that makes Wild Timor a standout. Whether you’re visiting the dental hospital, studying nearby, or just exploring the area, it’s the perfect place to relax, recharge and enjoy a peaceful moment in the middle of the city. I’m not used to the watery base, and the flavour was quite quirky that I’m not sure whether I like it that much. I did, however, finish the drink, which is a good sign. :)
The brownie was dense but was delightful, and loved the cherries...
Read moreWild Timor Café is such a special spot — everything we had was fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed an oat latte and a matcha latte, then tucked into the eggs benedict with bacon, the classic big brekkie with hollandaise, and the nourish bowl with smoked salmon. The flavours were so well-balanced, and you can tell they put real care into their ingredients — even the gluten-free bread and rosemary potato hash browns were made in-house! A beautiful place with great food, great coffee, and a lovely vibe. Will...
