Han's Cafe — Restaurant in Midland

I initially was going to give 3 stars possibly less while I was waiting for my two dishes. I wasn't impressed with having to wait about half an hour for a fried rice and sweet and sour pork while it seemed about a dozen people including delivery drivers came through and all got meals and I didn't see anyone being served any meals in the restaurant. It seems to me like takeaway takes precedence over dine in customers because the restaurant owner is more worried about their Uber Eats or MenuLog rating. Another annoying thing is these delivery drivers takeover the restaurant, dump their dirty bags in the middle of the floor and pull up a seat at a table and browse their phone while waiting for the food. As a dine in customer I felt like I'm unimportant.

However I was very pleased with the quality of the meal in particular the sweet and sour pork. It is definitely the best in Midland in my opinion. I later spoke to the owner and she was a pleasant and respectful lady who took in my feedback which I appreciated and hence I have given 4 stars but I suggested to her to create a seperate area with a petition on the side with chairs for takeaway customers and delivery drivers. They should be as out of sight as possible from sit down diners and they shouldn't be standing in the middle of the restaurant and pulling up chairs from a table and plonking their bags in the middle of the floor. From the service to the 45 minute wait time after she said 20mins..Spent $92.00 and honestly worse Thai food we have had.What made it worse is partner had been craving Thai food for weeks...He said Hanns Cafe is really good food..,I had not had there food before so thought ? Why not. The special entree consist of 2 satay sticks,2 dim Sims 2 spring roll never had I had a serve that looked like it was from a mini size party pack...the satay sticks had 4 small bits of chicken on the skewer nibble size. My main was Thai fried noodles with seafood....the only seafood was 2 partly cook prawns that was it. What they tried to sell of as I do not know what (supposedly seafood....was actually Tofu.O'i must not forget the 2 bits of frizzled green leaf and what I believe was egg white..there was no flavours just the one flavour like it had all been cooked in a dirty work as you could taste the old oil and the black bits that is marinate that gets stuck to the inside of the wok if burnt abit... The whole meal including extra fried rice and Pat Thai all taste the same no flavours. Do yourself a favour if you are willing to pay good money for food...Go else where...

Ordered food via Uber Eats at 5.50pm. Estimated delivery time was 7-7-15pm. At 7.30pm I called the cafe to be told my food had left 25 mins ago. I contacted the driver straight after. Funnily enough he was still there waiting for my food and said it hadn't been cooked yet and there was a error with the order. He had no idea what the error was. So I called the Cafe again. To be told a load more rubbish and an apology. Asked to speak to the manager. What a surprise, they were unavailable. Asked for a discount or refund, no can't do that. My food arrived at 8pm. Over 2 hours to wait for food. Arrived with cold spring rolls and cold satay sticks. Not one little bit of compensation for having to wait so long, absolutely nothing. The service here is absolutely terrible. Do not order via Uber Eats. The last driver was great. In total, 4 delivery drivers went to...
