Ebden & Olive Cafe — Restaurant in New South Wales

When planning our wedding I had very specific ideas in mind for the catering - it was one of the things on my list that I was not going to skimp on. I feel that food plays such an important roll in an event. I didn't want our guests to need to do a Maccas Run at the end of the night, or not enjoy the food in front of them. Ebden and Olive made sure that none of our guests were left hungry! Every single guest commented on how incredible the food was. They raved about how delicious it was and how amazing the flavours worked together. And that there was so much food they wanted to keep eating but just couldn't fit it all in. This is exactly what I had hoped for. Jodie and Steve made everything so easy for us. They are professional, kind, understanding, accommodating, and helped create what was the most perfect day and night for my husband and I. We cannot thank them enough for all they did for us. We had the team from Ebden & Olive cater our engagement party, and honestly 5 stars is not enough. Incredibly prompt communication in the lead up to our event, Steve & Jodie answered any queries quickly and guided us in our food selections/timeline. DELICIOUS food: we had a cocktail-side service, the food was so delicious, and all dietary requirements were catered for with ease. Guests haven't stopped talking about the food. Service at the event was sublime: the chefs & service team were incredibly friendly, professional and communication with my fiance and I periodically throughout the night and were able to help with anything we needed.

For Mothers' Day 2020, Ebden & Olive produced a two-course lunch that was nothing short of extraordinary. Everything was precooked and delivered the day before, yet due to the care and thought they put into the packaging it was easy to warm up the pork and sides and the result was seriously a restaurant-quality meal on the table. The meat was tender and juicy and the vegetables were infused with flavour. The crackling was spot-on. The date tart and icecream for dessert were subtle and fresh.
