I’ve stayed here several times. The rooms are a bit dated but generally comfortable and reasonably priced. They do offer a few pet-friendly rooms, which is great for dog owners. However, these rooms are located right in the middle of the regular ones, and during one of my stays, I had to endure barking dogs all night, which made it impossible to sleep. Additionally, I’m not sure how they manage to prevent fleas or other pests from spreading to the other rooms.

After my first stay, the owner/manager offered me a $10 per night discount after learning that I frequently stay in the Albury area for work. I accepted and received the discount for a few stays, but on my fourth or fifth visit, I found that the owner/manager had stored my credit card details without my consent—which is illegal—and charged me full price.

I contacted him about the overcharge, and while he usually replied quickly, it’s been months now and I’ve still received no response or refund. It may only be $10, but it’s the principle.

That $10 might’ve been worth it to him, but he’s lost a loyal customer. I won’t be staying here again. If you choose to stay here, be extra cautious with your card...

This is located in South Albury... there is a partition up the middle of the road it is located on, so you may have to do some manoeuvring to get to the correct side of the road. Once you are checked in, you can park anywhere. ||I had a room upstairs and it was a weird thing, I am not sure if it's because of how the stairs are done or because as I get older I am more sensitive to such things but I had a bit of vertigo going up them. Booking and check-in were easy and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The price was very good - we wanted an inexpensive overnight stay to break up our trip to the Great Ocean Road . The location was very good, and even though the Inn was on a fairly busy road, it was very quiet in our room (upstairs #15). We could also walk to everything in town - Albury is a beautiful place with lots of gorgeous old houses and buildings and shopping and dining is excellent.
