Allawa Motor Inn — Hotel in Albury

Two families, a queen room one with a newborn and our family a 7yr old and 9 month old pup a twin room. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are nice & clean, comfy beds and the pool is a lovely way to Cool down for the family. Allawa are super accommodating and help with anything you may require and always smiling. Having our puppy with us made things so much easier without trying to find pet sitters back home not to mention the anxiety our dog feels with out us. There’s a back area you have access to via a gate to do there business and our fur babes are allowed in the room 👍🏼 The room service was great too for breakfast eggs, bacon, toast, latte etc and so reasonably priced. This has to be the worst place I’ve stayed in. The lady running it started off friendly enough but showed her true colours once we’d actually checked in.

She is hardly ‘pet friendly’ in fact I’d say friendly isn’t a word this place should be allowed to use, they’ve simply found a way to both charge extra and not maintain the quality of the rooms by stating they allow pets. I’ve stayed in many a hotel but this one is easily managed by the worst. The Customer experience was at an all time low. Do yourself a favour and find another place to stay at. My partner & I always stop here, on our way to visit family in NSW. The office staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean, big enough & the bed is very comfortable. This motel accepts pets which is just brilliant, as not many do. However, EVERY pet owner needs to pick up their pets poo in the back area. There was poo everywhere & I don’t want poo on my shoe thanks. If people don’t do the right thing by the motel, one day they might not except pets anymore & ruined it for those that do the right thing. SO, PICK UP YOU PET’S...
