Hovell Tree Park — Attraction in South Albury

Lovely park and walk to take my son on. Plenty of paths and things to see. The sun is always shining (except in bloody winter) and it's regularly my favourite place to go for a walk. Great place to go Pokemon go hunting too if your still into that sort of thing (I am!) The grass is always green, everyone is friendly and you'll never not see kids having a good time. A great view of the Murry as you stroll around too. Good clean environment with the river deck cafe just a short walk away! Plenty of shade and places to sit and have a picnic with the family too. All round great...

The park is spacious and has interesting walking and cycling shared paths. Many people walk their dogs in this area and also swim or float in the Murray River. Some paths lead to The Community Wood Fired Oven, operated by AlburyCity Council. There is access to a public swimming pool and a few good cafes and restaurants in the precinct. A lovely relaxing place to stop and explore if you are passing...

The food vans were there and it was fun, especially one vendor that wanted to argue with me that sugar and honey are not the same thing in regards to insulin response... Of course they're the same.. anyway the park is lovely if not a little soggy but I'm not complaining about that, we are a lot better off than our comrades...
