My stay at the Garden Court Motel was highly disappointing. I booked a family room expecting comfort, but the experience fell far short of expectations.||The air conditioner in room 25 was completely non-functional, leaving the room at an unbearable 30 degrees all night. While the motel offered alternatives, they were unacceptable and far from what I had paid for. The first option was a portable air conditioner, requiring a window to be left open all night—compromising security and allowing bugs and mosquitoes in. The second option was a single-bed room in the manager’s office, forcing half the family to remain in the sweltering original room. Neither solution was adequate.||The bed quality compounded the issue; the mattresses were rock hard and in dire need of replacement, making sleep even more uncomfortable.||When I contacted Booking.com, they reached out to the property, but the motel’s response was appalling. They acknowledged my complaint but showed no concern about a bad review, highlighting a lack of accountability and guest care.||The only positive aspect of the stay was the pool, which provided some relief from the heat. Unfortunately, this does not outweigh the severe shortcomings of the accommodation.||I am seeking a full refund for this unacceptable experience and strongly urge the management to address these issues, especially to protect vulnerable guests who may unknowingly book...
Read moreMarch long weekend 3 night stay, the beds are extremely hard, thin, totally uncomfortable, not proper hotel mattresses, no mattress topper, no comfort layer, just thin, hard and horrible. Could not sleep due to hard mattress. Do not stay in Rooms 15 and 16 with thin, hard uncomfortable mattresses. I did see through an open door at cleaning time, one Family Room does have a proper Queen size hotel mattress, however the single beds just had the thin, hard mattresses. Service at Reception was very welcoming and friendly. My room was not serviced or cleaned on Sunday, very disappointing as I was out most of the morning and all afternoon. Receptionist very kindly did add a thin doona to the top of mattress to try to give some extra comfort, but it made no improvement. Room was very clean, tidy, lots of room, with comfortable seating, tables, large good quality TV, great fridge and freezer, fantastic split system air con, microwave, kettle, toaster, ironing board, iron, lovely large bathroom and products, fantastic shower head and water pressure, opening sliding door to small private patio off room. Gorgeous clean swimming pool. Great location, walking distance to main street with many great Cafes and restaurant choices, Myer and clothes stores. I would not recommend staying in rooms 15 and 16. Would only recommend if your room has a proper thick Hotel mattress with comfort layer...
Read moreMy wife and I stayed from 20/6/19 to 24/6/19. We travelled by train and walked to the Motel. It was 4.30pm when we arrived. Unfortunately, we had booked the Motel via AGODA. What a mistake. I hope I have spelt your name correctly Pushba. We were greeted by friendly staff and our booking hadn't been confirmed by AGODA. I had a confirmation printout that showed my credit card had been debited but the amount was pending. We were shown our room and as it was cold outside, the heater had been put on for us. The next day we tried to sort out the booking details but Pushba was unable to contact AGODA. We managed to track down a contact number for AGODA in SINGAPORE and ascertained that the motel didn't get paid until after we had left. Pushba and all of his family went above and beyond the call of duty as far as we are concerned. The room was comfortable and we certainly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return to stay with them again and ring directly. Well done everyone. I am hoping they have received payment for our...
