I wish I could rate this place zero. This is by far the worst hungry jacks I’ve been to. I have had beyond terrible experiences every time I have gone here. The staff are severely undertrained and the managers are extremely rude. The wait times are beyond ridiculous and never acknowledged by staff. I’ve waited anywhere from 15-20 minutes in an empty drive through more than once. The order will always be missing items. When you go back to fix it up the food has gone cold and you’re never even offered an apology or acknowledgment. The staff are unsure and very obviously lacking training, while the managers treat customers like a hinderance. I stopped coming here months ago after I had made an online order and was told I could not be given some items as they had turned off their machines to be cleaned (hours before close). When I asked for the refund for the items they couldn’t give me they told me no. Apparently as it was an online order I needed to contact support myself to chase up if I wanted my money back. When I questioned how it worked or how I contact them, the manager laughed and said there was nothing she could do. Ridiculous. I decided to try again after a few months as it’s local and thought maybe there might have been change in management, however had the same issues. Multiple items missing from order and when I made the trip back to ask for them, I was barely acknowledged and given cold items back. This place is honestly baffling how it is able to run like this, I know multiple people who have had the same issue here and opt to travel to Glendale or the maccas across the road instead. I hope someone in corporate is able to put in some time to better this store...
Read moreI’ve been ordering here for years, but the drive-through has become excruciatingly slow. Over the past week, I tried pre-ordering via the app eight times, hoping it would make things faster. Instead, it was a disaster every single time. Despite pre-ordering, I still had to wait 10-17 minutes upon arrival, totaling an absurd amount of time from when I placed the order. I varied the times each day to see if it would make a difference, but it didn’t. The whole point of pre-ordering is to save time, but this place has turned it into a complete waste of time.
It seems like there’s a severe lack of staff in the mornings compared to the rest of the day, or they simply start cooking only when you provide your order code at the drive-through, instead of preparing it when you select “nearby” and send the order to the kitchen. I gave them multiple chances to improve, but nothing changed. The food might still be good, but the service is abysmal in this scenario. Interestingly, Glendale doesn’t have this issue, and their online orders are significantly quicker...
Read moreI waited 15 minutes in line at the drive thru before ordering ONE regular meal, it took another 10 minutes to get to the window and pay, I waited there for about 5 minutes before the girl told me to go to the waiting bay, I waited there for 10 minutes and I ended up having to just leave without the food I paid for because I was already running late to get back to work.
I STRONGLY recommend avoiding this store unless you want to wait at least half an hour for your food. Also the outside of the store is so ugly, get rid of the dirty fake grass and faded and tattered old fake plants on the walls maybe? And there was a strong smell of burning motor oil coming from the mechanic shop next door that stuck in my nose all day.
