Don’t even waste your time. Definitely read their reviews, I wish I did 🤡 After spending 30 mins trying to get a park somewhat of a walking distance, we get there (myself, partner and kids). We had pre booked our table prior and had proof of the booking. Very Happy to get there as the kids are hungry and parking was hard to find. We said we have a booking and were told they were just going to get the manager. we could see every single table already taken so quite clearly they had forgotten our booking. From this point we were left standing there completely ignored and seen the manager walking well out of her way to avoid us, even seating other people in tables that had become available while we stood waiting. Obviously she didn’t want to face the issue she went well out of her way to avoid us. She Should be able to handle these types of problems as an apparent manager, just laughable really. The place was just so overcrowded too. Understandable that mistakes happen but do your job as the manager and sort it out or atleast say something instead being highly unprofessional and hiding. she was fine to just leave us standing there and seating others who got there after us.The kids were super hungry by this point so we just gave up waiting. Do yourself a favour Grill’d and find yourself a new manager who actually knows how to manage I don’t care what the excuse is for that nightmare service we received, that’s an embarrassment and I’m sure the other employees are probably confused how she has the role of manager, I know I would be 😂 we seen others coming up with complaints at the same time we were waiting too, get it together what an...
Read moreWorst Grill’d experience we’ve had. We ordered two burgers and two chips to “have here” and the person taking the order asked for my name (Jimmy) for the order. I used my wife’s relish membership for the order which is obviously in her name but I was asked for my name regardless. The meal came out as a takeaway for my wife’s name which we assumed wasn’t for us as it was a takeaway order and not for “Jimmy”.
After seeing the takeaway order do a few laps of the floor as the confused staff member repeated my wife’s generic female name. We inquired as to what the last name was. It was my wife’s name and our order.
We took our (already cold order) and opened it up at our table only to find that one of the burgers was wrong. I went to the counter and asked for the burger to be corrected and also asked for the skewers to hold our burgers together (which we would have gotten if the order wasn’t incorrectly made as takeaway.
The staff member took both burgers back and corrected one then placed them both on dine-in plates with the requested skewers. Our chips by this point were cold. And then we waited.... and watched... and waited... and watched as a number of employees walked by our burgers on the pass and didn’t deliver them to us. They sat there for about 4 minutes until the staff member that took them from us (who was doing absolutely nothing the entire time) realised her error and delivered them.
The burgers were cold, the chips were cold and we were extremely frustrated but too hungry to bother waiting another 20 minutes for our $46 meal (a burger and chips each) to be...
Read moreHave been ordering takeaway once a week for 18 months and have had great service and food to all be spoit by one person who was working tonight behind the till. Called Grilld at lunch time to see if I could use a coupon for a free burger as it states dine in only "mad bundy deal". The person who I spoke to at 12:04pm said they would ask and came back to me and said not a problem for take away and I even stated I won't be ordering till 5pm still no issue.
Ordered our meal over the phone which totals $58.20. When paying for the order the blonde girl behind the counter would not accept the coupon even after I explained that I did call earlier in the day which one of the staff said shouldn't be a issue. She then went on to explain that she started work at 12pm and was the only female staff on duty. Essentially calling me a liar- just to make it clear i was more than happy to use the voucher as a dine in option another time should i have been told differently on phone. So after she refused I used another free burger coupon which I got from points collected. After redeeming this my total is now $48.70. I then bring to her attention that it should be $42.70 not $48.70 which i'm told I'm wrong. $58.20 minus $15.50 (this is the cheapest burger) = $42.70.
So was mislead, rudely spoken to, insinuated that i was a liar and then over charged to top it off.
Do yourself a favor and go around the corner and get yourself a...
