Amazing Thailand — Restaurant in Northern Territory

Location wise it is in in the heart of Darwin City. However the interior setting is very poor, and old, wonder if they clean the sofas or not. Timings are false. Have been there two times long before closing (at least a couple of hours) and only take away was available, so did not order. Recommend calling them first before heading towards them. Have tried take away through the phone, poor English, took me 5 times to make them understand what I was ordering. Ordered Seafood Tom Yum Soup and ended up with Noodle soup. My fault was that I did not check, food was good, but wrong order. Also the lid for one of the soup bowl was not closed properly, so when I was driving the soup went everywhere. If I am paying them $30 and still have to check if the lid is open or closed, then I am better off ordering 'dine in' and then put in containers myself. Very poor service, staff are not friendly, smiles yes, but that is not the definition of good service. Will definitely recommend Basil in Bagot road...

This is the BEST Thai food outside of Thailand. I lived in Bangkok for over 2 years and I can never find authentic Thai food outside of Thailand. I honestly felt I was transported to the streets of Bangkok. We had dinner yesterday and ordered Tom Yum Kung, Vegetarian Thai Green Curry, Thai Fishcake and Thai Jasmine Rice - the smell of that steamed rice was unexplainable and the prawns was cooked perfectly. YUM!!!!

I was a bit skeptical when I saw only one person in this restaurant and thought maybe we should make a U-turn and go somewhere else. Thank goodness we didn’t.

Price is a bit on the high side but it looks like prices in Darwin is generally on the high side. Totally recommend this place especially if you want authentic Thai food and not the adjusted kind...

Great Value Thai in the City.

I had dinner here tonight and was thoroughly impressed. If you're looking for delicious and authentic Thai food right in the heart of the city, this is an excellent choice.

The location is incredibly convenient, perfect for a work lunch or a meal before heading out. What really stands out is the incredible value for money. The portions are very healthy-sized; you definitely won't leave hungry. For the quality and quantity of the food you receive, the menu is very fairly priced.

It's refreshing to find a restaurant in a prime city spot that delivers on flavour, portion size, and price.
