The worst breakfast of our 5 week holiday in Australia. For these reasons: Orange juice tasted awful, could have been reconstituted from powder?? Pastries were dry and stodgy. Tasted like they could have been left over from the day before? The muffins were noticeably dry, not sure they should actually be kept under heat lamps. Some of the cooked breakfast elements (particularly the bacon) were dry / overcooked. The volume, intensity and type of music played significantly and negatively impacted our breakfast experience. We booked for a birthday. Arrived and they were disorganised, didn't know about our booking, with an excuse that they didn't have the run sheet. While the staff were lovely and food was mostly nice, there was no selection of teas on offer, no china, tea cups or pots for the high tea experience.. and the coffee was the automated kind. Attempted to discuss with the staff, who went to speak with the manager and came back to say this is all that's on offer, with no attempt to remedy the situation. Had our dinner here last time. Since it’s new we were exciting to indulge ourselves as the menu looks enticing and yum. We all ordered a steak amounting $46. Mashed potato taste bland, the texture is not what we expect for a fine dining to serve. Not smooth, not buttery, not creamy. Pepper corn and mushroom sauce tastes the same it was like a ready made sauce and they just reheat it. The presentation was worse it seems like they just chuck everything in one plate.
