This is a great little cafe. Food was fresh, and the service was incredibly friendly. Highly rated. Food: Although a bacon and egg roll was not on the menu, upon asking if I could get one it was not a problem. Also had a bagel with cream-cheese which had chives in it. We enjoyed this breakfast. Staff: Very friendly, accommodating and professional. Location: Away from some of the larger, more popular cafes - this sits somewhat hidden making it a bit of a gem. Prices: We found the prices to be market value and fair. I’m sure many tourists would find them expensive, but we thought the prices were on-point with similar Australian cafes. Atmosphere: Good vibes. Cleanliness: Tables were clean. Service area was also clean. Void-19 compliant: Yes. Would we go again3 Yes. Would we recommend: Yes. Overview: Fantastic service and fresh food. 5 stars.

Really great spot for a sandwich in PD. Their menu has jaffles, toasties, sandwiches, and some traditional breakfast items. The Reuben was wonderful. Really flavourful and the sauce on the side added lots of depth to it, the pastrami was nice and tender, fresh bread, great size. The Chicken and Brie was great conceptually but could’ve been executed a little better. The chicken could’ve been seasoned a touch more, and the onion and pesto could’ve been more plentiful because the sharpness it added was delicious. I just wanted more of it. Besides that it was great. Hot beverages here are also spot on, can’t fault them. Really popular amongst locals, and I can see why!

I got tired of seeing the same bar meals advertised on the main street and found Toast. What a find. Exactly what I wanted, nice quiet, quaint atmosphere, super friendly staff, but main thing, outstanding food full of flavour that truely suits the tropics. We ordered the Pulled Pork and the Caribbean Chicken, everything incuding the charcoal brioche bun was amazing. $$$ value; very reasonable. This will be my go to eating place in Port Douglas from now on.

I saw the amazing photo from a year ago or the Reuben sandwich with the nice thick pieces of pastrami. But what I got was nice (for a lower price), but the pastrami was thin and the sandwich sad in comparison to the photo. I would have happily paid the listed price for sandwich in the photo, but for what I got not worth it. The other stuff we ordered was also a little steep for what we paid. My thickshake was an actual thickshake in a world that seems a thickshake is what a milkshake used to be and a milkshake is now flavoured milk. However it wasn't mixed enough so whilst some was amazing other sips where just...
