We visited Homegrown in Port Fairy today, and it turned out to be one of the most memorablebreakfast of our trip. The staff were absolutely amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You could tell the chef takes great pride in their work; every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The food tasted incredibly fresh — every ingredient seemed carefully selected and perfectly cooked. You could literally taste the freshness in every bite. My daughter absolutely loved her coconut pancake — fluffy, fragrant, and just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee was hands down the best I’ve ever had — rich, smooth, and beautifully balanced. We ordered both the Vegan Breaky and Veggie Breaky, and they were simply outstanding. Generous portions, great seasoning, and bursting with wholesome flavor. If you’re ever in Port Fairy, you must visit Homegrown. It’s a place that truly celebrates good food, great people, and the joy of eating well. Highly recommended! Thanks guys - great work.

We detoured to Port Fairy on the way to Warrnambool from the Great Ocean Road and wanted something for lunch. We ordered the greens galore and the strawberry pancakes. The greens bowl was outstanding. The pancakes had potential but were a bit bland due to a lack of topping. The jam on the pancakes was stunning and a lovely touch but I think they needed to add maple or the coconut yoghurt in between the layers of pancakes to prevent dryness. The coffee was nice too.

Visiting for the Port Fairy Music Festival 2024. What a fabulous festival, what a fabulous town! This eatery was a cut above. Super quality food made with care and attention. Great staff. Spotless amenities. I figure if a venue can’t keep the toilets clean (and the staff are using them), what’s the kitchen like?? No problems with this place. We had such a good time here. And a lovely respite from the horrid hot weather outside. Top marks to this place.

One of my favorite cafes in the Warrnambool region. My wife and I have been four times now and each time the staff have been very welcoming and friendly. The meals are tasty and locally sourced with a lot of allergen considered options. My wife loves the greens galore, I have a penchant for the pancakes myself.

Bring your partner along and play a fun nostalgic game of uno as you wait for your meal, such a clever idea to get people interacting and away from our phones. Even if you don't like uno, stop in for a coffee and have a chat you...

Went for a cheeky coffee and a simple bacon and egg roll and got a gourmet delight! This place put a home made relish (delish 😋) and gherkins (ala' Brick Lanes Beigel Bake in London, yum 😋) and wow...the best gourmet breakfast in a town with very little gourmet anything, anywhere, but better than Warnambool. These amazing ingredients were placed in a home made rye and sesame bun. Incredible... So worth taking the time to eat here and they are so helpful if you have dietary issues. Do go please and support getting real flavour into...
