My sister and I decided to eat here for dinner on Christmas Day. We waited nearly 1.5hrs for two Pad Thai dishes that never came as we ended up leaving. When we asked where our food was, both the boy and lady on the floor were very rude and blunt with their response. Had they apologised nicely for the long wait we would have stayed and waited a bit more as I understand how busy they were. Their excuse was: “On a normal night it takes 20 minutes, obviously today would be a bit longer as it’s Christmas Day.” A “bit longer” shouldn’t be 1.5hrs - people usually order, eat and leave within that timeframe at a normal restaurant. In addition, they should not have been running a takeaway service on the side when they could barely manage a full house with the staff they had. I work in hospitality, at a restaurant, and a nice apology about the delay would have been the way to go, not a rude, defensive response. I am grateful they sacrificed their Christmas Day to keep the restaurant open, but the staff, in general, need to be more attentive and have more hospitable mannerisms - it is...

The 1 star was not for the food, other reviews speak for itself, but for the owner. She was so rude to the point that she came to our table (which was outside since they were really busy) and bring her crew to stand right behind her (not sure why she need a back up) to blast at us for complaining to her other staff (we were just asking for explanation (take away took more than an hour and other came after us already got their meal), there was no shouting as such). I guess since they were very busy on that labor day long weekend which make her quiet arogant to come and blast at us on why we complain. Honestly, i cant remember what she said, we were starving to the point that we ate the take away outside their restaurant, as i prioritised to feed my kids first which both under 5 years old in the rainy days at 8:30pm, and right next to me was her kept talking, where i need to stopped her few times and ask "can we finish our meals first? And talk later?" That was the highlight of our visit in port fairy, Only two words to describe this, rude and...

The only place that open on Christmas this year. We're arrived and ordered from 7.30 pm and got the food by 9.30pm. We didn't stay to wait for our food because the lady and the boy told us that they're busy and they cant gave us the estimate time to finished our food. But honestly, we didn't expect that it will take that long. Even after 2 hours and we're asking where is our food, the lady told us that the chef haven't cooked it yet. But hey its Christmas, so we decided that we go nowhere and sit there and wait. Took another 20 minutes to get our food to our hand. And the worst thing, they served food to people that came after us.

Taste? Bland. Kinda tasteless. We ordered 2 seafood friedrice with king prawn and 2 pad Thai (we try to order simple food, hoping it wont take that long). Fried rice is sticky, and the pad thai have not much of ingredients. Just pad thai and some of leafy veggie.

I recently had a delightful experience at a local Thai restaurant. The friendly staff made the visit memorable, especially a charming lady who served me. I ordered a couple of take-away soups, and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic and perfectly balanced, making it a meal to remember. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy genuine Thai cuisine with excellent service.
