I was on the app trying to order for an hour and a half. It wouldnt except payment. I eventually rang as the offer stated online only explained the situation to be told we cant orders over the phone ( fair enough) and the website was not working. My order was free delivery i was told to download the door dash app. By the time i downloaded the app registered and submitted my order on the app i got a pop up message they were closed.
A) if the KFC app and website has crashed and they are fully aware it would be courteous to put a message up for your customers. B) if a customer rings for advice and you give them advice have the decency to let them know you close in 15 mins, I am from QLD and had no idea they close in NSW @10pm.
I then attempted to order online from tge service center. No delivery (fair enough) drove tge 40 min round trip to the service center, no potato and gravy (again fair enough) i requested 1 bread roll to replace it in hubbys meal and just gravy for my 1 three piece feed. I must first commend the staff member who handed me the food for being incredibly kind and friendly; their service was excellent. However, there were significant issues with the order when I checked it at home. While I acknowledge that I should have checked the contents before leaving the store, I placed the online order with trust in the staff and system to ensure accuracy. Specifically: The large size Coleslaw I ordered was completely missing. Regarding the new Sweet Tokyo Chicken: the amount of sauce was extremely disappointing. Unlike the heavily coated chicken shown in the advertisement photos, the pieces I received only had a very slight touch of sauce, appearing barely brushed on. This greatly compromised the intended flavor. It is highly inconvenient and frustrating to have to return to the store to request a refund or a replacement for a missing item, making it a waste of my time and effort. I hope the kitchen staff will pay closer attention to order accuracy and preparation standards in the future to prevent such frustrating mistakes...
