We visited Coffs Harbour during Xmas vacations. And this was 25th Dec. My review is not towards the staff or service, even during the peak 25th Dec, service was decent. The staff was under pressure but still polite. If you want to eat the worst tasteless Indian food you are most welcome here at any time. The curries were absolutely tasteless. It seems they were heating the Frozen curries, one can clearly observe the water. I am not sure from where they brought the tiny winy cutlery to serve the dishes, I have never seen such low quantity servings. Trust me, one person requires at least two main gravy items. It was a total rip-off. Our 3 person bill was $145 and we all are average eaters without any dessert and without any drinks. Nan was an absolute delight. No complaints there. So my suggestion is, just order Nans and order yogurt and you’ll leave satisfied. If you want to save your money and try some good food please explore somewhere else. I don’t care for the price but please provide some taste. UPDATE: So unprofessional of you to have blocked comments to your replies but I can see why. You have evaded the real issues to give a general information irrelated to the problems. I am a google'S local guide and foodie knows very well about taste. My review still stands and it's even worse after your very poor reply. It seems the issues are present in this location because of owner/management can't take critics and instead of working on real problem based upon customer feedbacks, they try to represent that the customer doesn't know anything. SHAME.

This place put a smile on my face from the moment I first walked in... lovely inviting restaurant, traditional music (at an appropriate volume level) authentic looking cutlery and utensils, and hammered metal water jug and cups (sometimes it is just the little things). Our server was amazing. We ordered about 8 items, nothing was written down, she just committed them to memory and got them all right. She was attentive, humorous and just a pleasant person to be served by. You can tell when someone enjoys what it is they are doing... and it showed in her face and attitude. Thank you. Now... the food. Ohhhh my goodness. I am just gob smacked. No amount of superlatives or eloquent descriptive words can even come close to explain how wonderful this food was. All I can say is "Do yourself a Flavor" (YES... Flavor)..and give this place a go, you wont be disappointed (I definitely wasn't). Amazing.

Ordered vegetable korma, garlic naan, mango lassi, pappadum with mint sauce and onion bhaji for dinner tonight. It was quiet when I got to the restaurant and the waitress was taking a phone order. I didn’t book a table so the waitress and I had to separate a longer table to make another table so I could be seated. It took some time for the order to be taken and the food to be served. When it came to the time of paying for the bill the waitress said that they didn’t put one together and asked what we had ordered. The same waitress was also taking care of take away orders. I think the waitress was doing the role of at least 3 people. Although the food and drinks were good the service lacked attention. This was my second time coming here. The first time the service was much better. I don’t think that after this evening I’ll be going back.

I walked in off the street to place a takeaway order. The young lady behind the counter was extremely dismissing and seemed very unimpressed at the idea of being at work and then after finally bothering to serve me and take my order rudely directed me to check in via the QR code. No issues doing so but a polite request goes a long way.

The food was prepared in a timely manner and I walked back in about 1 minute before it was ready, the servers attitude was no better this time and her interactions with other customers was no better.

I ordered butter chicken, rice, cheese and garlic naan and a serving of galub jamun. While the butter chicken gravy was quite nice it wasn’t stand out and the chicken while clearly cooked in the tandoor and was quite tasty was also fill of grissle and bits of bone from not been properly trimmed. This detracted heavily from the meal and was rather unpleasant. The naan was clearly freshly made but was in my opinion very average and probably one of the poorest naan I’ve experienced due to a lack of protein development in the dough and as such had the texture or a damper/ soda bread.

I’m not sure if they are mostly better than this and I tried them on a bad night but I certainly could not record them based on my...

ordered through their website 2.5 hours ago and still have not received our food. Called after 40 minutes to be told it was on its way and would be with us shortly.. clearly that was a lie. Called again 30 mins after to be told it was now on its way, also untrue. Called a third time and was told the delivery driver had just left and it was actually on its way this time… AGAIN, untrue. Called a little before 7 to be told that our food had spilled in the car and they’re were remaking it and it would be with us in 15 minutes. When asked how long ago the food was spilled (given it had allegedly been on its way for well over an hour), we couldn’t be given a straight answer. Food was delivered at 7:20pm after ordering at approximately 4:40pm… we were still expected to pay half price. Our toddler had to go to bed before it even arrived after us finding a frozen meal for him to eat given the dinner we had promised was no where to be seen and I myself am pregnant and now after almost 3 hours am eating my cold dinner.

Would give 0 stars if that was an option. Absolutely appalling service with several opportunities to apologise and explain. Definitely will not be returning and never recommending to anyone. Poor customer service is an...
