Mama Mia! My mind is blown away AGAIN. 2nd time here and even better than the first, even though tonight when I booked the chef harry was off. Mark with his contagious enthusiasm and encyclopedia of wine knowledge was again unbelievable (he even remembered what I had last time!) And I met his lovely partner and fellow wine maker holly who kept me and my date entertained, fed amazing aged blue cheese , 150 yr old sourdough and an incredible selection wines (our favourite was a 2014 red forgot the name Italian favourite of Julius Caesar called tip of the hat I think - I’m not a wine drinker normally but this is such a lovely communal place that doesn’t matter at all I still loved the experience. And so did my date normally gets headaches drinking wines but was fine with these minimal sulphites great quality ). Highly recommend, you won’t believe you’ve never heard of it before, and like me will recommend and tell anyone you know.

Ps The family business also make their own wine , called number 1 Shiraz from Barossa I got one of last bottles looking forward to sharing with my beautiful date hopefully...

Atelier Wine Bar is just fantastic. The wines are incredible – I tried lots, both my own picks and Mark’s recommendations, and every single one was delicious and really well priced. Mark’s passion and knowledge about wine make the experience even better. Ask him about your wine and you'll be in for a great story. Also, be sure to witness their Coravin-pourer - they can pour a glass without opening the cork! That way, you get to taste wines you would never experience in other places.

The food from Chef Harry is just as good – every dish shows real care and quality. The staff are lovely, service is spot-on, and the whole place has a relaxed but classy vibe.

A Hidden Gem Run by Two Passionate Brothers

Had an absolutely amazing experience at this wine bar, owned and operated by two brothers who clearly love what they do. Mark is a true wine expert—his recommendations were spot-on, and you can tell he has a deep knowledge and passion for every bottle he pours. On the food side, Harry is just as impressive. Every dish was thoughtful, perfectly prepared, and complemented the wine beautifully.

What really makes this place special is how well Mark and Harry work together. The whole experience felt seamless and personal, like being hosted by friends who just happen to be incredible at what they do. Their energy and care create a warm, inviting atmosphere that’s hard to find.
