Honestly this is the top cafe in Toowoomba! The coffee never disappoints and they care so much about staying local and being sustainable. They are the absolute best at steaming alternative milks; most cafes leave you with heaps of foam and the milk a bit scorched but all the baristas at Banter can steam almond milk to absolute perfection every time! Eek, what a sweet lil cafe. They were out of beans for batch, which is a-ok, I need an excuse to go back anyways because the S.O. spro was absolutely delicious, great sweetness with some awesome fruit acidity. Delighted to discover this gem of a cafe. Visited early before the rush and we were able to enjoy a couple of coffees in a very relaxed atmosphere. The coffee by Melbourne roaster Dukes was prepared perfectly. My long black was delicious and clean with a lovely sweet finish. And equally good was the friendly "banter" with Mel our host today.
