Tatts is conveniently located in town so we decided to use it for our Thursday pub group....a happy, friendly group of mums and workers who share a catch-up and a couple of drinks on a Thursday. The reason this is a 1 star review is because of the price of the drinks! $16.24 for a glass of rose ( which is all I asked for, not specifying a brand) nearly threw me to the floor! We usually pay between $9 and $12 for a glass. $17 for a glass of prosecco also came as a shock to a couple of the ladies, as they had been buying what was apparently a ''sparkling wine" for $9, but the manageress, (who was extremely rude with an aggressive manner) came on duty and gave them actual prosecco at the much higher price. ( They had thought the cheaper ones they had bought were prosecco, as that's what they had asked for). Tatts is not a flash place, so to charge these prices is patently gouging. Avoid Tatts if you want to have a few drinks without...
Read moreAttended a 21st Birthday upstairs in their function room (a private function)Where do I start, the room smelt and the floor sticky. The staff behind the bar were extremely rude. Alcohol was expensive, $18 for a can of rum and coke. Food was booked and paid for in particular a pizza platter and when questioned half way through the function where the platter was the response was “we don’t do pizzas” Package included access to Tv and Slide Show, when asked staff to put on slide show “we don’t know how to do that, sorry we can’t” Children were welcome to attend, that is until they arrived and told they couldn’t be in certain areas or touch the pool table and made to feel they weren’t welcome Don’t waste your money or time booking here, I was extremely disappointed, not a positive...
Read moreSeriously give this place a wide berth if you want to retain some dignity. Full of bogans, service at the bar is slow, people pack around the bar so if you are sitting near it you get half drunk clowns yelling and screaming. The chick playing music on Friday 1 July was akin to some hobo strangling cats inside a bagpipe and to top it all off, my beef burger was stone cold when served. Here is a thought Tatts Manager, get off the crack and try a bit of proactive management, put up some screens between diners and the bogans fighting for a drink. Second, if the burgers are ready to be delivered to the tables get the server to check if the cheese has defrosted, if not whack it in the microwave..... even though it will be a soggy mess ...least it...
