10/10!! My partner and I stopped in Mackay for the night with our daughter and decided to have dinner at this beautiful bar. The service was out of this world, they even went as far as offering a kids cup with orange juice for our daughter and to purée some potato for us and make sure that our daughter was happy and fed well just in case she wouldn’t be able to eat the food they had on offer. They were so attentive, We haven’t experienced such amazing service like this before and will 100% be back. The place is overall very nice, lovely atmosphere and very modern, not a typical Mackay place. Service was great, could not fault it. Drinks were good, and food presentation was excellent. However, we did not like the food - for some reason our meals were super salty, dry and tasted like it was prepped yesterday and reheated in the microwave. We had a 4 course menu - pork belly was very dry, and churros that our waitress bragged about were so dry. Overall, very average. My partner and I love trying new food and are willing to pay for great food - however, we just couldn’t justify paying $300 for something that is so average. So yes we’ll come back for drinks, but...
