I went in 15 min before close, fully thinking it'd be too late but hoping I could still get an ice cream. I expected staff to not be very pleased that I was there that close to closing.

But no, the young lady working the counter was completely lovely from the moment she saw me until the moment I left. The EFTPOS was down and she was clearly very stressed about it, but made sure to tell me straight away and offer me flavour samples. She told me about the flavour of the month and even recommended I try another new flavour, which was delicious.

We had a brief conversation as well and you could tell she truly cares about others. I expected my ice cream to be a treat (and it was) but really my interaction with her was the highlight of my visit. my kids went in to order their desserts after eating at the mexican across the road. We waited close to an HOUR to get served.
